don’t you hate it sometimes we will never know if what was said was true or not unless someone gets a photograph of that aircraft on the ground
I've seen a number of engine fires over the years including a massive compressor failure on a Delta flight as it was taxing away from the gate.

JEBEL. ALI. NOW. What are they waiting for?

Concentrate on logistics...
Logistics, logistics, logistics...

This will be over very soon... most are flown in... others shipped... and then over land.

Aggression from a distance depends on the chain... there is limited to no local resupply, repair... Choke that and orange... who is unpopular at home... running a war of vanity... and stuck because of his own ego gets chopped to size... and the electorate then either gets carried away by another ruse or chops him down domestically to be castrated pdfile for next couple of years he remains in, putting golden veneer on fake plants and flowers.

No way out for either side. Iran has an immense geographical advantge and willingness to absorb hits, US is the greatest military power the earth has ever seen.

They can both go bombing each other for maybe years, world economy will suffer but adapt eventually.

Both will end up at exactly the same place they are at now
Powerplants, Dams, Reservoirs, Bridges and other critical infrastructure takes years to build and minutes to destroy. The US can do that in days and send Iran to the stone age. With no infrastructure to drill oil, with no oil, with no electricity, with no water, how long will the Public continue to support the regime which went insane? And I say insane because of their decision to attack the 3 Ships transiting the strait which has kicked off this entire episode and has practically burned months of intense diplomacy to settle matters; something because of which Iran actually came out on top and got relief which it would not be getting otherwise.

Also, the blockade will start to bite very soon, with nothing going out or coming in, there will be shortage of medicine, raw material, machines, electronics, PC’s and so on. And then finally there will come a day when Iran eventually runs out of Missiles and Drones. What then?

Moreover, for how long will the Gulf and Middle East countries continue to take hits without eventually responding? The US, along with Israel and the entire Gulf pounding Iran day and night is something that will destroy Iran as we know it within a few months.

And the most dangerous involvement in all this would be of Pakistan as Iran and it’s allies are attacking Saudi Arabia, there may come a time when Saudia takes the offense to Iran and will call in our Defense Pact. I can guarantee that it will be a nightmare for Iran which it has not calculated. Because through Pakistan the American boots can also enter Iran; that will be a different war altogether.

I am actually now wondering what would happen to Pakistan if Iran also becomes fragmented; basically another Afghanistan!

The last IRGC statement shows that Iran is acting wisely and is weakening the US military logistics and C&C effectively. Hopefully, this would stop or reduce the scale of a potential US invasion.

However, the remaining issue to be addressed is how to break the taboo of killing American soldiers, how to target Saudi Arabia and the Emirates which have become more active, how to disable the US Navy, and most importantly, how to defend our infrastructure against US attacks.
