I'm not saying I believe this random twitter post. But it does present us with an interesting case study.
Why does Iran simply not stay quiet and execute its plan and then either: (a) retrospectively explain what it's done, or even (b) deny having done it (to create at least some minor confusion via the perception of false flagging by Israel)?
For a weaker party in an asymmetric war, to announce every minor escalatory step well in advance is rather amateurish. I don't recall such behaviour in an asymmetric war between nation states ever.
USA can certainly play this game of making x,y,z generalised threat and then following through on it. Iran cannot match USA in this particular game.
