The iranian method in the short and mid term hasnt achieved success and it won't in the long run.

The game now is for Syria to do what is required to get the state on her feet, to buy her time to develop her military along Turkish lines. If that means appeasing the USA/Isreal in certain short term areas to buy the time required, then so be it.

Remember i said before that geopolitical pressures are a reality, those who manage them well win, those who don't lose.

Now its time for the Turkish method to have a go. If in 50 years time it turns into a grand failure, then we can say the Turks failed. But within 10 years you will the see the Syrian army develop into a serious force, within 20 years it will basically be a smaller version of the Turkish army, united with the Turkish army. The Syrian army will probably be one of the first militaries to fly the KAAN.



However, these games remind me of when Turkiye and Iran were trading barbs and threats of war towards each other. Later on the americans discovered that in reality erdogan was allowing the Iranians to circumvent their sanctions via Turkish state banks. It was a sham, a deception. This could be another example, showing the isrealis and americans one thing, but potentially quite the opposite is taking place.

The only possible explanation is that there are rogue elements in Iranaian Military Establishment which are not in favour of the MoU. Because there was absolutely no reason to attack the 3 ships which kickstarted all this fighting. Everything was going well, things were eventually leading to a stable region with Iran allowed to trade its oil, sanctions lifted and frozen assets released. And then some manman decided to derail it all by attacking 3 unarmed cargo ships in the strait of hormuz.
