Iran seems to be in a purely defensive mode now. All of our attacks seem to be focused on weakening a potential ground invasion by the US, not to respond to the US strikes on our infrastructure.

No, I will always support Iran in any war against US / Israel. I disgust Israel and wants it to suffer as Gaza is suffering. But me lying and twisting facts won't achieve that. I always speak on facts. It does not mean that i want those facts. I don't like to close my eyes on reality even if the reality is harsh.
I praised Iran multiple times and I also acknowledge that it won the first phase of war until MoU. Which any pro-US person would never accept. But I feel Iran overplayed its cards and i feel they made it really difficult for Trump. You have to give something to global super power to end the war. 300 billions dollars ?? rreally? hitting commerical ships after 2 days of signing ceasefire / mou ?? Oh come on. and new reality and the way US is hitting targets and very weak Iranian responses is telling the future already. Iran has no defenses whatsoever. US air power will keep dominating the battlespace. Problem is that there are many in Iran who were pushing for war and who were even discrediting Ghalibaf and mediators. Even though they all worked their ass off to save Iran.

I am pretty sure Islamic Republic is prepared for such contingency. Even more, Perhaps they know it is the only way to force hand-to-hand combat. A bit like the Japanese on Iwo Jima or Okinawa.
Even isolating regions by blowing the bridges won't mean that Irán cannot answer. During Vietnam war in Dien Bien Phi, Nguyen was able to even displace artillery to top mountains.

Iran's only chance of winning this war is for the Americans to never land on the Iranian soil in the first place, which seems more likely every day. To stop the Americans from landing on our territory, you need to kill them and the IR seems not willing to do that.
We already have seen Iran's fast response to the US pilot incident. I'm not very optimistic.
Also, Vietnam war was fought in dense forests. More difficult for the US Air Force in 80s.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy says one of its electricity generation and water desalination plants was targeted by Iran in the latest attack, resulting in fire and damage to the site
The ministry said in a statement that firefighting teams have brought the fire under control, while technical teams continue to carry out repair work and restoring the affected units to service, alongside continued monitoring of the stability of the electricity grid.
The ministry also called on the citizens and residents to “rationalise” their electricity consumption.
