That assumption would literally make MoU meaningless. The specter of US running a simultaneous southern corridor takes away from Iran's leverage. But it isn't even about leverage... the bottom one is security!
Once SoH control is lost... US warships can go all the way up to Kuwait... providing an access to central Iran with munitions from those ships...

Yes, a loss of Iranian control / leverage over the Strait would make Iran vulnerable. But there were ways to deter civilian ships from secretly crossing without the use of lethal weaponry: Shots over the bow, speed boat... civilians ships won't risk even an RPG fired over them or a menacing drone.
There are ways to play this game and play it cool headed and meanwhile take all the advantage of the money coming in and fortify yourself. Shooting at the hip is not the way. The Strait is Iran's to close or open at will and so use that in very calculated way. And I think Iranians know that was a mistake, as do analysts like Trita.

IRGC says it destroyed radar systems in Kuwait

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard says it has “decommissioned” an early warning radar and a tactical radar complex around the Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait, and another radar system on the country’s Bubiyan Island.

It said that its attacks have succeeded in “destroying” the radars and putting them out of action.

“The operation to punish the aggressor continues,” it added.

Lets make nukes first , then all of them will come and beg us to not hurt them ...

I hope Mojtaba injuries and the pain of losing his family made him realise that Iran should have nukes against hese kind of enemies ...
His last name is khamenei at the end of the day. Don't hold your breath. He would have to admit his father's policy was pathetic and cowardly to reverse it. He will likely continue the same policy.

And why not inside the UK?

Hit RAF Fairford and London

UK power is gone since nearly 100 years, they will not respond beside some statement condemning the attack
I disagree, you hit London especially really damaged London in some way they will strike back.

You think they're going to do nothing when their major city is attacked?

it's a very high risk gamble

and one that isn't worth the risk given Iran's very limited ability to do meaningful damage to such a distant target and the risk of bringing Europe further into the war against Iran

Absolutely! That's the last thing Iran would want.

No - all he has to do is say that the situation has changed, and that the verdict of his father is not relevant to these circumstances. He doesn't even need his own fatwa to do that, he has full authority as the Supreme Leader.

Nothing is changed , they were doing this , but now they are just made it public which is better for us .
They think we're stupids. Remember also that Cyprus Akrotiri base I think It is under British rule.

That's all he has to do, yes. But will he do it? Refer to my other post.
