Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Indeed, smaller tankers will have to be used.

All that increase of cost can be translated in a single amount of money by year.

Ksa could give 10% of that amount to houthi to keep them still.

It would be better spent that ksa investment in USA under recent trump blackmail of 20% fee.

It’s clear by the strike cadence Iran has less than 5000 missiles remaining. Maybe even less than 2500 missiles.

Because if Iran had let’s say 10,000 missiles remaining and they expected the war in worst case scenario to continue for 1 year. Then they would have the leeway to fire much more than 5-7 missiles a day at the PG + Jordan. That would only be a run rate of 150-210 missiles a month or 1800-2400 a year. They could fire triple that or even quadruple that daily number and not exhaust their supplies.

However, if you have only 2500-3000 missiles, then the current cadence makes sense.

It is plausible, but we will never find out.

Looking at that video again, it could be a B1 bomber, with both left engines hit/taken out and trying to limp home on the remaining two engines. The alternative is that it is a F15/F18 or Typhoon that has been hit on the left wing and it is trying to limp home ?

Either way, the US or anyone else will not admit to it.

Trump admits what we all can tell - Putin and Xi are and have always been Western appeasers.
Russia is likely helping Iran, trump is only showing his nervousness, he knows if the material support from China and Russia is of any significance his version of Putins special military operation will turn out worse than Ukraine because of the global economic fallout.

I think Iran may need certain chemicals and things from China and Russia and maybe motors for Drones, but all of that can be sold through companies which will be hard for the US to stop or detect.

It could either be with dwindling stockpiles as you suggest, or more than they don't need to have a high strike rate given the depletion in interceptors and the stage of the war we are in right now. Main targets are Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain right now it seems.

Also, the focus for the armed forces will be on the upcoming increase in attacks, and possible land invasion.

Doubt it’s B1.

First, B1’s release their payloads over Iraq not Persian Gulf Islands of Iran. Second, they wouldn’t risk flying into Iranian airspace. Iran still has fighter jets and this thing is not stealthy. 1 F-14 could take it down using its BVR missile from 100KM+ away.

It’s either a U.S. fighter jet or an Iranian one. More likely Iranian because why would a U.S. fighter jet have its identification lights on in hostile territory?

NEW YORK CITY: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has demanded that Houthi forces immediately halt attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea, warning that a renewed assault risks widening the escalation in the Middle East and drawing Yemen “deeper into regional conflict.”

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Stephane Dujarric, Guterres called for an immediate deescalation and urged the Houthis to refrain from further attacks, citing Security Council Resolution 2722, adopted in January 2024, and subsequent resolutions relating to the protection of commercial shipping. Navigational rights in and around Bab Al-Mandab Strait “must be fully restored,” he said.

The statement followed renewed Houthi attacks this week as the militant group said it had targeted two Saudi oil tankers. It was the sharpest escalation in the waterway for months.

The UN’s special envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, said he was alarmed by the attacks and similarly warned that they risk dragging Yemen back into full-scale war.

Bab Al-Mandab Strait has emerged as a second maritime flashpoint in the region, along with the Strait of Hormuz, amid the wider conflict between the US and Iran. Tehran has reportedly signaled the Houthis to prepare to close Bab Al-Mandab if Washington continued to strike Iranian territory.

US President Donald Trump has warned of “major military punishment” if there are further attacks on international shipping in regional waterways.

Where was this bastard when KSA was doing the same thing for past 7 years !?

U.S. is striking 10-20 Iranian cities/towns a night. You would respond to that by only firing 5-7 missiles. You would fire 15-20.

So either Iran is preserving its missile for a return to high tempo operations or it simply does not have inventory to risk firing that many missiles a day.

I also don’t believe Iran can build 100 BM missiles a month during wartime. 50 maybe. I look at the Russian production rates and extrapolate that number to Iran. Russia has stronger industrial base than Iran does as well. Russia isn’t building 100 Iskanders a month.

Iran seems to be targeting within its Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act loop on a smaller target set in fewer countries more precisely to me. Unless Iran makes the decision to start destroying civilian targets, the actual number of military targets for Iran is decreasing to Jordan, Israel(which Iran has not targeted yet) and if it decides to cross the line and attack Crete(?) which is seeing major US force buildups.

Where are the US military forces engaged in military operations against Iran based out of now?

So yes, it is possible that Iran is running out of missiles, but if that was the case then Iran wouldn't be politically moving to trying to end the conflict with talks rather than rejecting ceasefire requests and escalating vertically and horizontally across the board ?

I imagine the conversation

Trump: So you won't give weapons to Iran
Xi: yeah in same way you don't give weapons to Taiwan 😉😉

Trump: so you won't give weapons to Iran
Putin: yeah in same way you don't give weapons to Ukraine 😉😉😉

And Trump went away happy and satisfied without catch the sarcasm

More Iranian redlines and threats…
