The rumors regarding a deal appear to be accurate. Any agreement the Iranians sign in the next few weeks will be remembered as the one that tore apart Iran. They are definitely planning not just to launch an attack on Iran but to completely and physically destroy it once and for all after the Mid terms. How can the Iranian leadership not see this?

Iranian leaders have a country of 90 million people to run with mouths to feed - a nation that is under a naval blockade. Under these extreme circumstances, they have to do what is good for Iran. Every ceasefire affords them an opportunity to sell more oil, buy more supplies, and work on their missiles, including building more missiles and drones, and improve the accuracy of their arsenal.

A massive economic turmoil in progress brought EU and US support to knees . Need massive economic support to keep Israeli post alive in middle east. I also see bleak future of British made GCC countries.
That may sooner or later take over by Turkey or Iran. US bases in these countries is not ever lasting solution for the security. Well, its long discussion .... but these GCC countries have very bleak future.

Iran could focus on Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea and Danube Delta. The main Ukrainian export is wheat, and it is exported through these ports. If Iranian missiles and drones can reach them, they could target them - much the same way that Ansarallah in Yemen did to the "Israeli"-operated Eilat port on the Red Sea.

Iran - working with the Yemenis - can also target any ship visiting Ukrainian ports in the Red Sea.

Iranians have cards to get back at the Ukrainians, should they choose to do so.

Iran could focus on Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea and Danube Delta. The main Ukrainian export is wheat, and it is exported through these ports. If Iranian missiles and drones can reach them, they could target them - much the same way that Ansarallah in Yemen did to the "Israeli"-operated Eilat port on the Red Sea.

This is a great opportunity for Iran to hit Europe and basically deliver a message. Pick the most northwestern part of Ukraine to send a message to all of them.

What you say is true, however, European nations would retaliate and possibly join the war with USA. That's the last thing Iran wants.

And besides that, Iran would have to have missiles that would reach those European capitals. So far it seems they don't. And if they do, not sure what they're waiting for?

Regardless, we have to be realistic here.

US attacks Iran for couple of weeks, Iran blocks Hormuz, Oil climbs.

US talks about ceasefire and negotiations to stabilize markets, Oil prices go down.

US regroups/re-arms and comes back with a new round.

US can keep going like this for ages without any major issues, but Iran really can't.
Iran needs to find a way to break this vicious cycle before its too late.
