well that already happened with Iran sharing the Shahed-136 tech with Russia and then the Russians subsequently inventing the FPV drone on top of it. These FPV drones and their cables now litter all of all Eastern Ukraine.

So I would still recommend keeping out.

Ukraine is weak actually. it has robust arms production and that dates back to Soviet Union days. So in arms production Ukraine does have talented engineers and their rapid development is impressive.

However, the whole country right now is propped up by EU thru loans and handouts. Ukraine itself is broke. Without EU and U.S. aid it would have collapsed years ago.

EU in turn is very reliant on natural gas for heating their homes and survive the winters. Iran and Russia can make this winter a living hell for the EU with strait of Hormuz closed and some sabotage attacks on Azeri gas lines can create a lot of pain for Europe. Europe will then be forced to rely mostly on U.S. LNG which has long lead times for delivery and more expensive costs.

So Iran can influence Ukraine vis a vi hurting EU to the point that leash in their mad dog “ally”.

Zelensky's reaction, and the reaction of the Ukranian defence establishment, to the use of Shahed drones has been completely disproportionate when one takes into consideration the prevalence of Western weapons across conflicts throughout the world. The only difference is that now a non-white country is manufacturing and selling weapons (and doing so more cheaply).

How do you think the so called 'international community' would react if Iran started targeting people from countries that had manufactured weapons systems that were used against it?

Not quite fair comparison. Many countries supply military hardware to the different warring sides and also do the trade. I think Pakistan too had supplied some artillery shells to Ukraine in the ongoing war. Then also India helping Russia indirectly by buying the Russian oil in Russia's dire needs. North Korea sent thousands of soldiers to fight on behalf of Russia and quite possibly also supplied military hardware. So on and so forth: Basically business.
I don't understand why would Zelenskyy needle Iran right now; as if he doesn't have enough on his plate already.
