Drone hits gas storage tanker in Egypt, maritime security firm says
A drone has hit a US-owned gas storage tanker at Egypt’s Mediterranean port of Damietta, says maritime security firm Ambrey.

Two gas tankers caught fire at Damietta, said port services firm Inchcape

Remember the lavon affair?

Don't let the euphoria allow the Trojans to make their way in...

At this point zion only needs narrative control... they have lost badly on every front... and there are attacks including one in Saudi that have occurred without ownership.
If a new narrative is being pushed cloaked under attacks from resistance or unnamed factions than it needs scrutiny and disavowal... to arrest speculation.
Since these could easily be called reciprocal... and until they're...shouldn't be painted. As it has been a game play for several decades now where disproportionate attacks on civilians that were either not owned by outfits or later retroactively claimed were used as ruses to expand use of force or pretext for larger conflicts.

I don't think the tolls can be described as extortion but more like ethical piracy

Iran needs money more than Oman and PGCC does

We need the money for hospitals and cancer research, Oman doesn't need it and if they get money, they would construct 7 stars resorts for foreigners and instagram influencers. Iran needs that money more than anyone in the region

It's ethical extortion and piracy, just like some pirates did in the 1700s
I saw the tolls differently.

Iran sustained what $200bn worth of damage by the US and its allies, a number of GCC countries supported that aggression along with European states. So If I look at this logically, I want reparations for those damages and deaths, for now I would enforce a toll to cover those costs. But I would say once the costs are covered toll ends - that could be a decade or more if the conflict continues.

I think its fair only, Iran has proven its weapons specially drones can regulate traffic in SOH and world only follows mighty….
Iran has proven its weapons and it should be might is right, I fully support Iran tolls on SOH.

Hopefully one day Indian Govt has military might enough to charge tolls on Indian ocean

Thats just stupid and impossible for Indian Navy to enforce. There is a difference between a narrow waterway and an ocean.

Why navy is required to enforce?

Why cant hypersonic glide vehicles enforce the tolls ….

India is a very poor nation compared to arabs or iranians if they can get tolls why cant poor nations

Would you also extend this to your desperate and coping compatriots disparaging their host here?
Yes, this is a Pakistani forum and we should not insult our hosts. Posts insulting Pakistan will not be tolerated. Please continue to report them if they go beyond the threshold of criticism and into insults.

And given this is the Iranian section, others coming to this section to insult Iran will also not lead to a positive response.

CENTCOM confirming the obvious about that Blair Witch style video from American troops

It is a major story on Reuters as well right now.
To be noted: War damages can't be hidden enough due to the widespread availability of cell phones. No country, with the exception of North Korea and maybe Turkeminstan can shut up people from reporting damages in their vicinity. In this case, even the soldiers couldn't be controlled to share the images/videos. In contrast, Israel is a much more open and connected nation and damages done to Israel could only be hidden by censorship to a minor degree. Israel was not sadly damaged enough in this war which began on Feb. 28.

The main places that the MQ9 and MQ1 both got their reputation from were against Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, and Iraq post-invasion, and Pakistan's tribal belt in a limited way.

None of these nations had any real air defense, except Pakistan. Pakistan literally cooperated during the strikes, which is the only reason it wasn't shot down.

Its reputation, much like every other similar drone, is overrated. They faced insurgents who couldn't fight back.

Irán doesn't have a fancy Air force like Pakistán. Irán doesn't have the fancy nuclear bombs that Pakistán show off in their parades...
THEY WERE ATTACKED FIRST. From Kuwait, Qatar, Arabia Saudí and Emirates.

Pakistan choosed the Camel breeders instead of joining the Resistance.
Irán cannot hit alone Israel and let arabics hitting from their bases.
First Arabs and then israelis.
But Pakistán choosed their band.

Don't blame iranians while you are cleaning Chinese aircrafts in arab countries. Use your fighters to hit Israel instead.
Nice rallying speech. However, is Iran actually ready for this multifaceted conflagration? Did Iran need more time to prepare for the final showdown?

If we take a step back, Tehran's influence throughout the Middle East has been severely hit over the last 2 decades. You may choose to observe the events of the last 6 months only but I wouldn't be surprised if the outcome of this war rests on the events of the last 2 decades.

Iran is certainly within its rights to attack all who threaten and/or have harmed her nation and/or her people. However, that doesn't mean immediate action against a full spectrum of enemies is necessarily wise.
