What if this is just bait to get Iran to launch an attack on Israel ? Then Israel will not need to do any more convincing and Trump will be forced to resume the war.

Israel don't need a "bait" or need permission of US to attack OR any "excuse" at all. Every single time Israel has attacked Iran first and they really didn't needed any excuse.

Israel did a large scale attack on Iran in 2025. Did they felt the need to throw any bait ? They just went ahead and attacked Iran.

In 2026, everyone knew the attack is coming when US was also bringing in its ships. You can't hide all that preparation. I was telling again and again that attack is evident. Enemy is preparing, they are loading up, they are locking targets and they are doing all this deployment not for fun. Its for real thing. Even then Iran didn't attacked first, though it should have.

Israelis are prepping all this time. They will attack first again. It will not be Iran (though it should be). BTW, Israelis could already be attacking in this phase-2. Flight operations are being directed from Israeli bases. Quite possible that Israeli F-15s are tagging along US ones.

It's rather sad. Our air defense performed very poorly during the war.
Even the IRIAF surprised me with their bravery.

IRIAF has always been the backbone of the army and overall the defender of our sovereignty. Without them, we would have lost a good chunk of our land to the Iraqis in the 8 year war. The amount of disrespect and neglect our air force received from this backward caveman regime is criminal. And what was wrong with us receiving Chinese aircrafts like the J-10A and FC-31? Not only were they more capable than anything we had but it could have opened the doors for upgrades on these jets and build better relations with the Chinese for license production. Also, why didn't we take Syria's upgraded Mig-29M jets? Those point-defence fighters are so badly needed right now.
