They're not going to do anything. It's a regular pattern to unsettle markets in region and part of economic warfare long term.

Israel particular trying to manipulate Saudi and Arabia and Gulf nations into normalization with Israel.

US may do limited strike on coast as usual.

Iran had two Supreme Leaders that belonged to the wrong periods of time.

When Iran needed a peace seeking SL it got Khomeini who kept an unnecessary war going.

When Iran needed a war and strong defiant supreme leader it got Khamenai who tried to avoid war at all cost and failed to deter the enemy.

That's sickening. It is becoming more and more likely that the current US government will not hesitate to intentionally harm civilians of enemy states if a war of their choosing does not follow the desired trajectory quickly enough to suit their budgetary constraints. Trump is like a psychopath, already being directed by another psychopath.

OT but on a recent visit to Pakistan, a relative of mine had to assist another relative in cancer treatment. They spoke with the cancer hospital and staff and learned that cancer cases have risen dramatically in the last 25 years in Pakistan's northwest, the location of many US bombings. They also have huge number of patients from Afghanistan, because of all the ammunition used there by coalition forces in the last 20 years, including depleted uranium rounds.

It's a hidden cost to all these wars, the sickness that it leaves behind on civilians. We are likely to see the same phenomenon in the next 20 years in Iran, Lebanon and Gaza from all these American and Israeli attacks.
