Apparently Israel merely "resumes strikes". Other countries are reported as breaking ceasefires.

How come ? isn't with every carrier group a supply ship that deliver necessities and goods to the carrier?

That's what I was thinking, like in the old days. But maybe they stopped doing that as a "cost saving" measure and thought nobody could ever take out those logistical bases and the ships could just visit them non-stop.

I just find it strange to be honest , the v-22 osprey or c-2 grehyound can each transfer about 4 tons of goods or food in one flight , the 5000 servicemen on board of the carrier consume about 12 tons of food per day , so 3 flights of those planes can be sufficient without the need of a supply ship to go to nearby port in gulf countries or diego garcia base.
