U.S. must be feeling fairly confident if it can claim there are no negotiations going on. Meanwhile the past 2 months Trump had been saying we are talking to Iranians over and over to keep markets calm.

Seems US feels they have markets (and oil) under control to be able to say no talks are happening.

It’s pretty simple, 51% Iraqi oil and 49% Iranian = Iraqi oil. Russians did similar tactics to circumvent EU sanctions.

The only problem here is Iraqi oil money is controlled by the U.S. so I doubt this story, unless Iraq is paying Iran from its own coffers ahead of each sale.
