Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

It was planned for many years now. First it was through computer simulated scenarios where they lost the majority of them, compelling previous presidents to not instigate and keep their distance. They decided that like us, they too will play the long game, that's why every year the sanctions worsen and our currency is as worthless as toilet paper. On top of that, if you can't beat an opponent outright, you infiltrate and beat them from within and they had two assets, CIA+Mossad, that proved to be more effective than any bunker missile they could muster against us. Since our government, and every branch of society has been infiltrated, I don't see this playing out well for us in the future unless Mojtaba enacts Stalinist like purges which I just don't see happening whatsoever.
The way the Israelis could just assassinate people in the middle of Iran like all those nuclear scientists shows that there is some big leaks. Maybe a lot of them got killed in the 'protests' but who knows. At present it looks like IRGC is still sitting tight and not in any immediete trouble of being overthrown but if nation wide protests start up again then anything can happen

This is exactly right. 7 countries in 5 years. Their agents are hollowing the country from within like termites. The bombings just speed things up.

Wow, I did not expect this from the Guardian. This journo must have accepted some real fat envelopes.

leaks? the whistleblower is all smartphones.

And no matter if a security sensitive person doesnt use smartphone, all people around anyone use smartphones. microphones, cameras, all can be enabled remotely.

NSO Pegasus is from Israel.

Probably because there is some kind of exchange with other arab counterparts

Irak, Qatar or Saudí Arabia accept some iranian oíl and Irán doesn't hit their plants.

The unquestionable true It is Irán doesn't hit them because Irán doesn't want.

Even with Fajr5 IRGC could hit some of these places in minutes...

I think they are repeating a lie.

A simple and blatant lie.

They say: We can not resupply aircraft carrier because logistic facilities were hit.

Stupid thing, they can buy supplies everywhere in the gulf countries.

Aircraft carriers can not dock in gulf port, because they would unmoved and near to Iran, easy to attack and sink.

But they dont want to project that image of vulnerability for their big warships.

How easy can USA set a narrative of nonsense lies even in simple things like that? what they wont do in more hard things to know.
Traditional "manned" aircraft carriers may well be approaching an era of obsolescence. I agree that they are vulnerable, even the American ones. USA holds the advantage for now, but that advantage is tenuous and remains under threat from asymmetric means. The corollary of all this is that the status quo is very costly for USA, hence the Americans remain eager for a quick resolution. That said, what is very costly for USA is simultaneously crippling for Iran's economy.

Regardless of the logistics issues, USA may yet tolerate a long game of siege better than Iran can.
