Iran successfully struck a Saudi Very Large Crude Carrier as it attempted to cross the Strait of Hormoz

And Iran has also launched a new attack with 3 anti-ship cruise missiles

though I understand the point that Oman should also have a say legally,
it just stinks of hypocrisy when an American says Iran has no right to regulate traffic in a waterway that intersects its territorial waters while the US literally imposes illegal naval blockade on countries far away from its own borders

and in any case, Iran has been engaged in bilateral negotiations with Oman regarding a joint framework for regulating traffic through the Strait of Hormoz, so clearly this shows that Iran recognises Oman's rights in this area (and vice versa)

Iran's actions for now should be seen in light of war imposed on Iran

I have been recording missile impacts across US bases since the start of the war, and I have seen enough similar low res satellite images across dozens of targets to know this was likely a successful impact

why the damage appears less than you would expect, is up for debate. could be drones as you say, or just small warheads on missiles (e.g., 100-200kg) that impact at slower speeds than we think (maybe mach 1-3 rather than mach 5+) and slightly miss the target.

That’s not the strike that was up for debate. That’s Prince Hassan Airbase (a different airbase). This apron hit was actually the most plausible.

The one you showed earlier (Muwaffaq Salti Air Base) was something of a black smudge that was even on old high def photos.

Iran fired 12-15 missiles, so we can deduce 4-7 missiles impacted across Jordan (though some may have missed their target, but the low res satellite imagery seen already indicates 2-3 accurate impacts)

I have wondered whether Irans tempered response last months is due to diminishing weapon stocks, but here the guy is saying they are making more than using so I am confused why they are not making good use of them. Iranian life should have a high price but right now US is killing many soldiers and not getting a reciprocal response in return.

Well maybe it is diminishing stocks? That's a reasonable assessment

This is how you know they are not serious about fighting a war.

I dont know what they are thinking, if they are afraid of high US casualties which would give trump the support he needs I doubt you will get those with planes just sitting on tarmac.

Because our liberal government, who has Pezeshkian at it's head, still believe MoU must be observed.
