Explosion heard near Iran’s Qeshm Island: State media​

A reporter for state media outlet IRNA says that a loud explosion was heard a few moments ago on Qeshm Island, located in the Strait of Hormuz.

“It is not yet clear whether the sound originated from the sea or if the explosion occurred within Qeshm”, IRNA’s report says.
