Iran has lost its leverage it had in March. That leverage was the only reason Trump even agreed to an unconditional ceasefire in April or the MoU in June.

Now without that critical and ONLY leverage, Iran is trying to get a deal. Complete retardation. Trump can escort oil indefinitely using the largest Navy in world on rotation and largest airforce/helicopter fleet on rotation.

Can Iranian economy even survive till Persian New Year (March 2027)? Doubtful without massive inflation and citizen protest.

I think it was US begging for ceasefire and then for some reason Iran agreed, it was at the time getting 20% of its missiles through at US and also Zionist entity in Palestine as Zio-US interceptor stocks had run low.

Iran has a decision to make. A real decision.

Iran's approach to Trump and USA has to date failed, to build in deterrence in Trumps mind or the military at large. The fact that Trump has so openly dismissed Iran's offer means, that in Trumps mind, the cost to the USA and its military has been very low and tolerable. That is why he feels confident to go back in when it suits him. This policy that Iran has adopted of not wanting to cause significant military pain on the USA has not worked and cost Iran a lot of ammunition in the theatrical show that Iran's response has been to date.

Iran needs to rethink its approach, or it needs to accept for ever being mowed by the USA and Israel at their whim.

Does Iran have actually military and political goals, can those goals be achievable by Iran's military and if so, can it independently achieve them outside of whatever decision Israel and Trump decide to make about Iran?

Because Iran is run by imbeciles who want to merely retain power and continue plunder the nations wealth rather than fight to win an existential war against their “Great Satan”. Not sure I have ever seen anyone try so hard not to defeat Satan.

Iran has been tricked by Trump many times since 2020, only an incompetent country can believe Trumps lies at this point and yet Iran was fooled time and time again. This goes back to Obama and the JCPOA.

Iran has no real desire to confront US or Israel, it leadership just wants to survive and maintain status quo forever under sanctions and embargo. Iran has maintained the status quo for so long that it doesn’t know how to get out of its comfort zone in foreign policy.
