A lot of oversees Iranians hate Islam and want a secular Iran where it is LGBT+ friendly and girls in bikinis. They think US will do whats in Irans best interest but in reality if US gets its wish, it will carry out orders from Israel to balkanise Iran and remove threat forever.

Now without that critical and ONLY leverage, Iran is trying to get a deal. Complete retardation. Trump can escort oil indefinitely using the largest Navy in world on rotation and largest airforce/helicopter fleet on rotation.

Can Iranian economy even survive till Persian New Year (March 2027)? Doubtful without massive inflation and citizen protest.

No one is denying that oil is getting out through the Strait of Hormuz.

The real issue here is whether this is sustainable for the United States, and why Iran isn't throwing everything it has at the U.S. forces involved in smuggling third-party oil.

ironically, during the first month of the war, Iran successfully closed the Strait and only Iran was exporting oil. now the US successfully managed to reverse the situation, where everyone else is exporting oil except for Iran
