The truth is that the count down has already started. The regime cannot control its currency anymore. Iranian currency has lost over 80% of its value in less than 2 years. Iran cannot build nuclear weapons anymore, it cannot export oil anymore, it cannot even import many goods the way things are going and Trump is preparing for the next round. Now you can continue to remain in denial just like you've chosen to do so in the last 9 months until now.

Having the superpower title means very little to China as the world is completely upside down, and all trading lanes have been threatened.

Iranian economy is on the verge of collapse.

Iran’s economy has already collapsed. It’s basically a North Korea, Syria, Lebanon, Ukraine esque economy. Only difference is Iran can supply its own energy needs.

Iran is in this situation of its own doing. It neither wanted nukes, war, or peace for a decade. It rather stay in the ambiguous state of paralysis and status quo. At the end of the day, without a strong economy you can never be a strong military power. Imperial Japan was a prime historical example of a country that didn’t have its energy and trade needs secured. Japan had to fight an energy siege by America that ultimately lead to the country getting nuked and the end of its territorial ambitions.
