The United States literally needs everything.USA only did deals with Iran to give them resources to destabilize the zone and to provoke Israel to act.
USA doesnt need, want Eurasia, but Eurasian slaves can't imagine world without daddy USA master.
or a 3rd option. Iranian nationalist government, Iran, its economy, people come first, Iran resets its relations with the Usa/Arab world, IRGC is finished and Ayatullahs only kept as political heads, power is given to nationalist military and reformist. Iran policy is core interests first, and trade, economy, so this means agree on a united Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen policy with the Turks and Arabs. So support for Hizbollah, Houthis and Iraqi militias will end, policy with Turkey, Iraq, Syria to keep Kurds in check. Hizbollah, Houthis, Iraqi militias will work with their governments.Let's analyze it rationally. We have two options:
Option 1: Keep the status quo which means that Iran might get nuked in the future, our currency will depreciate by 60%-70% every year, over half of the population will live in absolute poverty soon, and eventually, Iran will be balkanized and devoured by regional powers in the Middle East. Minimum wage in Iran is $70 per month now. For a country where average family size is close to 4, even if both parents work with minimum wage, income per capita is 1 dollar and 16 cents per day. This is below the UN poverty line, and it is only going to get worse under naval and aerial blockade.
Option 2: Get rid of the current ideology that has disarmed and impoverished our country in support of people who don't even like us (namely, the Palestinians) and take a risk for a better future. Sure, Iran might lose some territories like Kurdistan if we don't unite by then, but that's more than granted if this regime stays in power and this situation continues as is. Do you think this people who couldn't even get close to the area of the pilots during the war can keep our territorial integrity without even the means of transporting our troops to the front line?
So, here is my way of thinking:
Option 1 is balkanization + a Chinese puppet regime + potentially getting nuked + poverty, lack of civilian and military transport and eventual disarmament after defeat.
And option 2 is balkanization + a US puppet regime. Which one do you think is worse?
You chose option 1, if I'm not mistaken. You guys just do not want to accept that we have reached a deadend. And there were many people who warned the system of this day for decades, but the system chose to continue this path.
Before Khamenei's death, people blamed it on Khamenei but who is to blame for it now?
It does cost $20-40 more to transport oil through the oman route due to the logistical difficulties associated with STS transfers and shuttle tankers. Brent crude is always going to be above $95 even with all this oil passing through. Before the MOU and during the july engagements the price of oil is lower than it is now.
The IRGC is the nationalist force in the country. The supporters of the government are the only ones who want Iran to be self sufficient and developed. The opposition's greatest desire for Iran is Mcdonalds and KFC chicken in Tehran. They are worthless.or a 3rd option. Iran will withraw to its own borders, rebuild its economy and military. People mention this less but GCC are lobbying Usa to finish Iran, aswell as Israel.
The problem is Israel will then find other ways to cause problems ie bomb and invade South Lebanon and continue involvement in Syria but Iran policy should align with Turkey and GCC, if they only give statements then do the same. Recently Turkey and Saudia found ways to align their interests so in Syria it was joint effort and joint control of the Syrian government, the same policy can be applied in Libya, Yemen, Lebanon and elsewhere. This is if Saudia agrees to work with Iran.

USA needed everything, past tense. The United States literally needs everything.
Its capitalist system, its currency – everything is built on thalassocracy (it doesn’t have 800 military bases around the world just for fun) – and if that were to falter even slightly, it would drag the entire empire down with it.
China is doing everything it can to avoid the Thucydides Trap, but the US does not want to abandon the dream of a unipolar world, even if it means blowing it all up.
Isnt IRGC the same as the Ayatullahs, they follow the 1979 revolution and follow Khomeinism, so one of their job is to protect the revolutionary government and export this ideology. What about the Artesh, what if they take power and make reforms and reset relations with the Usa and GCC.The IRGC is the nationalist force in the country. IRGC is a religious-nationalist movement, like Ansarallah. You can see this character in different Shia resistance groups.Isnt IRGC the same as the Ayatullahs, they follow the 1979 revolution and follow Khomeinism, so one of their job is to protect the revolutionary government and export this ideology.
