The US cant maintain 3 CSGs in the Indian ocean. Their main logistics base in bahrain was blown up. Now they rely on diego garcia which is 4000km away from Iran. Honestly if these IRGC generals had brains they would hit that Island and the omani ports that are allowing US ships to dock there for re-supply.

Iran simply needs to increase the range of this missile to maybe 2000km and then US carriers cannot be used to attack it.
