One - has it been confirmed Iran has a missile capable of hitting DG? Add to that that AD has likely been significantly increased.

Two - the CSGs can be resupplied at sea.

K-4 missile which is based on a Russian/Soviet Union missile likely has 4000KM range with reduced warhead. And likely what was used during the war.

Could Iran hit DG? Sure, but not reliably enough to truly hurt the base. 1-2 hits isn’t gonna put DG out of commission. Not even 10 hits would.

Typically CSGs cannot be resupplied at sea when it comes to resupplying and installing the ABM missiles (SM family) as that’s too hazardous a procedure for open choppy waters.

One- Qasem Basir.

Two.- We saw It with the USS Abraham Lincoln.

Qassem basir does not have enough range for DG. Only Khorramshahr family does.
