OT but Pakistan has been turned into a mercenary state by its army and joining the Saudi war in Yemen is true to form. From what I have been able to gather, Pakistani or other country's troops will not be going into Yemen in large numbers, rather they are gathering Wahhabi Salafi Deobandi militants from all over the world, like the Syrian headchoppers, and will be sending them into Yemen to bolster the Saudi-backed Yemeni government. There are rumors of Pakistani militants who previously fought in Kashmir and Afghanistan being recruited.

Asim Munir's "mediation" in the Iran war was more as an errand boy for the US and China. At the end of the day he was always going to sign up for a new war contract.

It looks incresingly likely the Israelis are going to hit Yemen and Iran this month, and then after the midterm elections in the US, a joint Israel-US-GCC-other flunkies attack on Iran and Yemen is going to happen.

IRGC claim third tanker struck sea mine in Strait of Hormuz​

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says a third oil tanker has hit a sea mine and caught fire after attempting to use what Tehran considers an “unauthorized route”.

In a statement carried by state broadcaster IRIB, the IRGC Navy said the shuttle tanker was carrying about 750,000 barrels of crude oil when it ignored warnings and attempted to pass through the restricted route on Sunday afternoon.

The vessel then hit a sea mine causing an explosion and a major fire, according to the IRGC.

the goverment / establishment really shot itself on its foot by further antagonising the PTI in KP and this will only help the TTP.
Pakistan is weak and poor with a leadership that sees its future retirement in Middle east (after Iran war) or West , therefore its willing to spend its soldiers and young officers for some halal dollars.

back in the days we showed some backbone when the parliament voted against joining the GCC war on Yemen, people seem to forget that Yemen is not a monolith entity where only a small faction of Zaidi's (not Shia) Huthis are fighting the Saudi aggression. the illinformed sectarian propoganda has turned this unjustified war on Yemen as a shia vs sunni war and anyone criticising Saudi war atrocities on yemen gets branded Iranian spy and a shia just like in West criticising Israeli atrocities is branded as antisemite even protesting for peace is branded as pro Hamas.

remember that all this war is within Yemen and the rebels are retaliating due to ongoing blockade and embargo on Yemen.

Saudis are pissed off and they have lost their partners in crime i.e UAE who are backing different set of headchoppers and joined their Israeli partners in their proxy wars in Somalia.
