Turkey is just a more technologically sophisticated, opportunist and connected - NATO (but still broke) hired gun version of Pakistan. sorry if this hurts ,but you see both turkey and Pakistan flock anywhere there are dollars to be made!I do not believe that Turkey will regain a dominant position in the Arab world.
However, it is clear that it has acted with maturity; it has avoided direct involvement in the war and has made a point of condemning Israel’s stance.
At the very least, it has surpassed Saudi Arabia in terms of leadership within the Muslim world. That is indisputable—at least from an Arab perspective.
So according to Netanyahu, general rule of thumb;
Country run by sunni leadership = friendly?
And if run by shia leadership = enemy?
The hired gun...... not firing at Iran.Turkey is just a more technologically sophisticated, opportunist and connected - NATO (but still broke) hired gun version of Pakistan. sorry if this hurts ,but you see both turkey and Pakistan flock anywhere there are dollars to be made!
Well this video came out recently:
And Iran was seen adding HAS infrastructure for future large jets before the war. Add in the fact they also purchased YAK-130 and Russian attack helicopters and Russian humvees in recent months, it’s likely what they are alluding to is a Russian SU-30 license production like India has.
Time will tell. But one thing I know for certain is Iran isn’t developing its own fighter jet. It neither has the infrastructure (even pre-war) nor the resources for such an endeavor.
It’s best bet is to secure SU-30/35 in short term along side a small number of SU-57 and be a part of the SU-75 checkmate program for a future fighter jet to replace the bulk of Iran’s aging jets that still remain. SU-35 can only be a stop gap, not the future.
The odds of China selling fighter jets or license production to Iran is near zero. Xi is worse than Putin when it comes to such matters.
Anybody can say "eye for an eye"logic is crude, archaic or Draconian, but you can't say it's not very. it is as fair and precise as it gets.An Eye for an Eye![]()
I fully agree with you . I mean, why would Iran wait for deadly fighter jets from IAF or/and USAF to get fueled up and loaded with deadly ordnance ,to bring havoc to Iran, before Iran strikes them while they are vulnerable and ready to be crushed like paper while they are on the ground? was the initial damage those fighters did to Iran since Feb 2026 not serious enough for Iran to want to prevent a repeat of that in nov or Dec 2026? Logically, Iran not preemptively attacking is a big odd to me. Mind you, the Iran govt and IRGC believe a strike on Iran is 100% going to happen so why wait for it to hit Iran first? UhIran should launch a counter-pre-pre-emptive strike at Tel Aviv
But my hopes are low, Iran will wait to be under attack to respond
