I have to question the Iran thread sometimes legitimate source and why military plane arrive to Iran unless Saudis are about to hand over a couple of billion dollars in gold or cash

Turkey won’t do a damn thing! Erdogan is Bibi’s personal donkey! He knows damn well the perilous state of the Turkish economy. And unlike Iran, Turkey is not energy independent and Israel can halt all energy into Turkey in 48 hours! Turkeys economy can easily be shut down, much easier than shutting down Iranian economy.

It doesn’t matter how many soldiers Turkey has or how many weapons or how many shiny aircraft. Turkish military is no match in fighting Israel wether in Syria or in the Mediterranean.

Perfect summary of Turkey- you have a solid understanding of the regional reality of this Muslim country. turkey will likely have to pick sides soon, and Ukraine losing its war will likely set turkey back alot.

Still doesn’t explain why a c 130 instead of luxury plane if it’s just for talks I could be talking out of my butt but if we see a sudden drop in attacks on Saudis oil infrastructure Saudis paid off the Iranians for a few months

Five Rules of statecraft:

Rule 2: never start a war with a neighbour unless they pose an existential threat.

Rule 3: never try to ferment insurgency in a neighbour when you are fighting insurgents yourself.

Rule 5: understand the RED LINE between being passive and/or having trading relationships with geopolitical adversaries - to being their bootlicker.

Certain countries are doomed to failure because they do not understand the basics of statecraft.
