Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Ukraine is truly doing a fine job of helping Iran by targeting the refineries of our bestest ally. I know for a fact from one of my Russian friends that there's a shortage of fuel in Russia now. Hopefully, the Russian electricity grid will be next.

Didn't they deliver a handful of Sukhoi-35s to Ethiopia recently? I remember I read 12.
Nevertheless, our bestest ally thinks their relations with Ethiopia are worth more to them than Iran.

By our contract, Russia had to deliver the first batch of Sukhoi-35s in March 2026. In 2 months, 2026 will be over and Russia has delivered zilch.
Bro,no matter how much you hate Russia, the truth is that 2026 is the yeae that NATO, aka US, accepted that Ukraine cannot win it's war against Russia, hence all the requests for negotiations and concessions. Iran will gain from Russia dominating Ukraine militaril and irreversibly. it's a hard and slow war for sure, but the writing on the wall, regarding it's trajectory and eventuality, is now clear.

🇮🇷⚔️🇺🇸🇮🇱IRGC Spokesperson: We Are Identifying Targets Across a New Geographic Scope

The final phase of our victory - which we eagerly await - is the one described by the Leader of the Revolution to senior military commanders: maintaining an intelligent and powerful combat readiness to confront the enemy.

Removing geographic constraints provides us with an expansive theater for operational planning, allowing us to strike back against enemy aggression and achieve complete deterrence.

From this point forward, we will ensure that no country dares to even adopt a political stance against Iran - let alone harbor ambitions toward Iranian territory or assets.

Over the past two days, the IRGC has prioritized the identification of new targets and the development of operational plans for this expanded geographic scope, in the event of an enemy attack.

🇮🇷Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council: We have repeatedly stated that the seven conditions announced by Iran must be met. If the conditions are met, the path to diplomacy will be open.

On the other hand, if any action is taken against the country, according to the directive issued today by the Supreme Leader to the armed forces, we will inflict devastating blows on the aggressor using new weapons.

What I don't get is why they can't just do all of this theoretical target planning in one go, and well in advance of any conflicts. I accept that some of these targets will only become apparent very close to a military operation, but the types of targets they're implying here (bridges, desalination plants, etc.) are static structures on Google Maps.

RAND must have spent a significant portion of their annual budgets during the cold war constantly drawing up and refreshing target banks for the US military.

Nobody respects people who betray their country

Afghans betrayed their country to help a foreign attacker and this is how they are treated

Those who aid an enemy during a war deserve the harshest punishment.

E.g. U.K. hanged Nazi collaborators.

Those who defend collaborators are equally heinous.

There shouldn’t be a time limit for punishing collaborators.

It's intact because it wasn't operational before the war started. Even now we don't know how active this particular site is. You say you have seen satellite images. So, please share them.

Maybe, it is entirely possible that Iran is doing some covert nuclear activities, but it's all hypothetical. We don't know if there's been any advancements at all. We're in the dark, all of us.

Iran already has a "casus belli". It has been attacked twice in the last 18 months. Unlike Iran, which didn't dare to declare war, both Israel and the United States officially have declared war on Iran and even killed the Leader of Iran and over 10,000 people in the two wars.

Who is "we"? Show us those trucks coming in and going out of PickAxe please.
CSIS one of the most well known think tanks and renowned has stated this;

Previous CSIS analyses have noted that Iran continued construction activities at Pickaxe Mountain in the aftermath of Operation Midnight Hammer in June 2025. Between June and September 2025, Iran completed the security perimeter fence around the entire facility, reinforced and extended several tunnel entrances with portal doors, and increased the pace of excavation at the facility. Notably, the tunnel portal entrances at Pickaxe are shaped in a U-bend, which could prevent missiles from flying straight down the tunnel corridor and reduces shock waves created by explosions channeling energy into the underground facility.

Not only protected the site, it has reported also a heavy traffic inside the complex

However, SAR change detection analysis during Phase 3 (January 2026–present) registered heavy usage across every road corridor simultaneously and increased hardened surface returns near portal accesses and road corridors.

That is a good signal. I let you to guess what heavy usage across every road corridor can mean (load of trucks).

Also, CSIS is suggesting that related enrichments are being developted in the complex.

This multisource imagery analysis of Pickaxe Mountain reveals more road activity in 2026 than the last six years. The imagery analyzed here can not substantiate nor refute claims that Iran moved uranium enrichment centrifuges into Pickaxe Mountain. Given the level of construction activity at the site, there is reason to doubt that Iran is conducting uranium enrichment at the facility right now.

And finally, CSIS suggest also that even destroyed PickAxe mountain there would be alternative non declared sites that would complicate the control of Iran nuclear program.

Iran operates numerous other underground facilities across the country. Even if the United States can destroy or disable Pickaxe Mountain, Tehran’s nuclear aspirations are unlikely to change any time soon.

Iran does expect Russia or any country to protect it, but Iran could do with support from Russia, especially in difficult times, such as difficult sanctions or war.

No country is an island! All nations need other nations to trade and be stable, especially the ones with the largest economies, like China.

There are a lot of Russian Jews citizens residing in Israel under dual-citizenship. Most Russian Oligarchs Putin has are all Jewish. There’s no benefit for Russia to give away its military equipment or Help to Iranians. I think Russia would rather attack Iran than harm Israel. Iran should find their arms elsewhere China/ Turkey/ Pakistan. Iran needs equipment that the Moscow turn off when requested by Israel. That’s the problem with Russia it’s not a trusted ally.

A Pakistan-bound LNG tanker (Al Mayeda, carrying Qatari cargo) was hit by a projectile near the Strait of Hormuz on Friday hours after Iran had approved its safe passage. The ship had 25 crew including 6 Indians; all are safe. It has turned back. Attribution remains unclear amid ongoing regional tensions.

Turkish Trucks Begin Cross-Border Transit at Kapıköy Border Gate

According to Van Postası Gazetesi, a significant development has taken place in transportation between Türkiye and Iran.

Turkish-registered trucks have now been granted permission to cross into Iran through the Kapıköy Border Gate.

Key points of the development:

  • New arrangement: Turkish trucks can now cross into Iran through Kapıköy.
  • Previous situation: Previously, only Iranian-registered trucks were permitted to use this crossing.
  • Approval: The Governor's Office of Iran's West Azerbaijan Province approved the passage of Turkish trucks.
  • Negotiations: The agreement followed discussions between Necdet Takva, President of the Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Iranian officials.
  • Expected impact: The new arrangement is expected to boost international trade, logistics and economic activity in Van and the surrounding region.
Why this matters: The opening of the crossing to Turkish trucks represents an important step towards more balanced cross-border transportation between Türkiye and Iran. It could create new opportunities for Turkish transport companies, truck drivers and logistics operators.

In Turkey, a social media campaign for the closure of the Turkish-Iranian border has been launched. I wonder who's behind this...

In addition, news like the article quoted above cannot be found in the Turkish main stream media but rather in small regional news outlets indicating that the Turkish government wants to deepen trade ties with Iran but doesn't want too much public attention.

And, of course, it took the Iranian side just a crippling, devastating war to open the border for Turkish trucks & mutual trade.

Self-imposed isolationism....so much things to say...

Who knows what IRGC personnel previously benefited from keeping this border shut for Turkish trucks.

Iran should try to drive a wedge between the US and Israel and its allies in the region for example like in Ghazwa e Khandaq.

Secondly, check if US plans a nuclear strike and do counter-measures.

Also target Diego Garcia this time around and sink a few aircraft carriers as well.

In short, concentrate on the US and Israel if they attack and have agreements with regional powers to spare them if they don't allow strikes from their territory.
