it depends, original nuclear bomb design, like it was used in japan, it's public.

but miniaturized nukes, small enough to be carried in missiles, it's not public.

nk was working 11 years until it achieved from the first nuke until the first miniaturized nuke in 2017.

Anyway, miniaturization is not the main obstacle for Iran as Iran's K4 missile can reliably carry a 2,000kg warhead to Israel. For a realistic comparison, Mark V, built in early 50s, which is reportedly similar to the nuclear design that Israel claims Iran was pursuing during the Emad/AMAD project, weighed only 1,500kg. Iran has an advanced missile program that can reliably deliver heavy payloads to Israel.

I have never doubted that Iran has multi-stage missiles. We've had that technology for 20 years already after we unveiled Sejjil missile during Ahmadinejad's presidency.

I'm not sure if that's true but the Iranians do talk about the possibility of a nuclear strike on the internet.

The purpose of news like this is to demonize Iranians as much as possible to justify the use of WMDs against Iranians.
