Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

It was a RISK PREMIUM anticipating the conflict continuing.
What has changed though? The risk is still pretty much there. Even more so than before. So, why is the price collapsing?

I told you guys for months Hormuz was moving SUBSTANTIAL amounts of oil.
Who do you mean by "you guys"? I always said that Iran's blockade of the Hormuz Straight was not working.

Yes. And oil prices are falling below $90. Maybe it means JD Vance is in talks with the reformists in Iran to sign a deal or something?

I don't understand why oil prices have fallen from $117 to $95 in a week. It makes no sense. Unless there's been a huge SPR release prior to war, it makes no sense.
Oil prices are falling because India is exporting oil at full capacity to compensate for the decline in oil exports from the Gulf region.
Only few people know that India is the world’s second-largest exporter of refined petroleum products after USA. Although India does not have significant crude oil reserves, it has the capacity to refine crude oil from various sources, including Iran, Russia, Gulf countries, and Venezuela, and export the refined products to the rest of the world.

Markets are forward looking - they expect the Dems will force Trump to wind down the conflict or at the very least Trump won’t be able to go and do the worst of his strike options. Also oil has been overbought strictly off price action so now it’s cooling.

Now that doesn’t mean oil cannot rebound. It’s just right now the markets have a certain sentiment. Just look at what happened to oil prices from June to July MoU period.

Either way Iran has played the Strait of Hormuz card terribly.

The reason stated was because India is exporting or helping with the export of medicines.

Do clarify just how serious Tehran is about Palestinians then.

Oh. Why now ? Why not last month or the month before ? Suddenly they allowing the countries who as per Iranians were in cahorts with Israel and America. While the Allies who helped you guys are not even in the list. We can cut the B.S and agree this is Iranian government going back to its usual tactics of pressuring countries on Yemen.
Pakistani govt hasn't behaved like a true ally of iran's, it's just the fact - it closed borders and trade with Iran (also after losing $40bn in trade with India the ended since 2019, after the pulwama incident), so Iran has blocked Pakistani energy flow in the strait of hormuz - that seems very fair - Pakistan used its leverage on iran where it had it and Iran used its leverage on Pakistan here it had it. Welcome to the new boss of the SoH- if you can't fight then negotiate or comply.

Pakistani govt hasn't behaved like a true ally of iran's,
What in your opinion is behind Tehran's decision to treat Israel's 2nd largest arms supplier (behind only the USA) as a "true ally" in the context of Hormuz transit?

Could it be a pay off?

Could it be compromise on Tehran's position regarding Israel?

Curious for your analysis.

Pakistan has had a separate secure, highly controlled bilateral arrangement with Iran since the start of the war to allow its ships access to the Straits of Hormuz..

That access has not been revoked...

You are trying to act smart as the Iranians in this thread, who convieniently forgets what happened in Afghanistan due to which Pakistan closed the borders. I know you read my posts about it, but i'm gonna give you a benefit of doubt. So tell me what Iran did in Afghanistan which made Pakistan closed the borders?

You think Iranian Government can crap on any country and they gonna just forgive them ?
