If true, this sounds like some diabolical humor - war by negotiation. So, with advance notice, Iranians did not scramble their interceptor planes or activate anti-aircraft missile batteries or at least switch off lights to prevent the targets being seen?

Iran has some s-300 systems (which has shown to be very vulnerable), some domestic systems (none of which have any real world data), and some older outdated systems....and that's about it.

Iranian AD system would be useless against F-35 but they are more than adequate against missiles launched from Israel. And, if Israeli F-35 are headed towards Iran, the Russians would be more than happy to provide real time tracking to Iranians.

Now you may say that Russia can't track F-35...
And the Russians would just smile at you.

But even for Russians, tracking a 5th Gen stealth aircraft from a thousand miles away would be inconvenient. And the tall tales are harder to swallow when their SU-3X planes were supposedly downed by Ukrainian Patriot missiles, which use 30-year-old technology.

I explicitly explained to few of my iranian friends that do not expect interceptions. Iran do not have missile defense capability. I explained to you that Iran has only developed its offensive capability. Missile defense is extremely complex, expensive and not everyone can do. But @Mr Iran Eye , @Kyussis, @Tijani , @Mehdipersian , @Tehrani021 did a laughing reaction on my above post in the screenshot. Can anyone of these guys explain to me the humor now ?

Hope you learned it by now. Iran has no missile defense. It has very good attack capability through its own ballistic missiles but nothing to stop incoming missiles.

I am always with the facts & the truth. If I am praising Iran then don't expect me to hide its deficiencies and tell lies. Lying is not part of me. People often go far ahead in nationalism and don't agree to basic facts & common sense which I had mentioned in above post. I was amazed what's there to not agree to. I was also amazed that few Iranians are living in a bubble of ignorance that they think Iran has developed a technology to stop incoming missile. No my friends. You were absolutely wrong!

Iran's S300, Bavar, and Arman systems are anti-ballistic. They also performed well in this attack.

Officially, the attack has ended.

To be honest, Israel most likely hit and destroyed some Iranian targets
But his attack remains dull, weak and ridiculous..

After more than three weeks of media coverage, threats, intimidation, support, bringing THAAD and armies to the area, reserve upon reserve and waiting, and in the end an attack to destroy some batteries and sites like this!!

Russia has at least one airbase in Syria. Also, Iran and Russia just concluded naval drills so there may be Russian naval assets in the region. Also, no one knows what equipment has been transferred to Iran during the last few weeks as Israel dawdled...

As for whether Russian technology can detect F-35, as I wrote, the Russians would just smile.

I always caution people against underestimating NATO military power, and the same applies to other countries that have a demonstrated history of military technological prowess.
