Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

@UKBengali

See this video. Its an 13 year old video over Tripoli. There are no missiles or missile interceptions but you see quick bursts of AA-fire

The Taliban also used to do same in 2001 when US bombers were flying over Kandahar. Its literally WW2 technology. Its totally ineffective as you are just doing a precautionary fire in a hope that missile will get caught in it.

So does this mean that Iron Dome here also did not intercept Hamas rockets?

The images are completely similar, you will not see massive explosions and missile debris.

OMG!! There is a HUGE / MASSIVE difference. You don't see a quick burst of AA shells in this video. See the speed of burst of AA fire is so quick for fraction of second as its fuse is set to explode. Secondly, Hamas rockets are too tiny travelled only few Kms, but still you see a clear interception. If there is interception of a BM you definitely see a large burst of interception and not a quick tiny burst of AA shell.

I am amazed you guys in defense forums are unaware of AA-shells. That is not even a debate. Please read about it.

KingQamaR made a good plausible theory on what happened. That is, Israel planned a stronger multi-wave attack, but the first wave failed to take out enough of the Irans IADS to punch through a hole, to allow waves 2,3 to get through to all the places they wanted to attack and they were subsequently called off.

We need to see the extent of damage in Iran from what Iran managed to achieve, but it does look like either Israel was either forced to do a smaller response by the Americans, or their attack itself failed to achieve their mission objectives.

It is possible that the IADS was robust and active enough to not give Israel the freedom of movement they wanted and needed to be able to do their mission.

If you consider how many USA assets have been moved into the area, the USA and Israel were/are expecting a big response, which suggests that Israels attack was meant to be far larger than what they managed to achieve, logically.

Question is what was destroyed in Irans IADS and how quickly can those holes be plugged quickly.

Israel's attack while causing some damage and death, failed relative to what their plans and missions were for the attack. However, in practical terms, they may have achieved more actual damage of "things" than Iran did with its strikes.
You were going well until the lasts sentence where you failed abjectly. Incorrect!

— So far, countries that have condemned the aggression of Israel against Iran:

Syria, Iraq (incl different factions), Jordan, Pakistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, UAE, KSA, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Yemen, PIJ & Hamas & Malaysia.

🇫🇷France & didn’t condemn but asked both parties to de-escalate.

🇬🇧UK asked Iran to break the cycle of retaliation.

🇨🇭Switzerland condemned violence in the region including the Israeli aggression.

Those people with Pakistani and Afghan flags are well known anti-Iran trolls.

I'm starting to notice this behavior and it's quite noticeable to be honest.

Yep that should not happen. One must stick to facts & truth. I have always sided with Iran as I can never take side of Israel which is a genocidal maniacs.

But at the same time, I will always stick with facts. I will not glorify something is never done. I sided with Iran and fought against pro-israel trolls when they were mocking that Iranian strike was failed. I told them with videos that Iranian missiles actually penetrated israeli defenses and Iran has created a deterrence for itself in this regard.

But at the same time, I cannot accept the videos of plain old AA fire as interception of Israeli missiles. Its against my conscience to accept incorrect stuff.

Obviously Iran has re-established majority deterrence via TP II. But if Iran wants to be king and have 100% deterrence Iran must respond to this attack regardless of how small it was.

I think the worst fears of the war in the Middle East escalating to WW3 are over for now. This limp response from Israel gives the message that the Anglo-Zionists have hit their limit and backed off. Hopefully they’ll back off from killing innocent women and children in Gaza and Lebanon as well.

The long term war will continue until the elimination of the Zionist settler entity. They have the blood of 200,000 innocents on their head, which has to be avenged.

What this war has achieved is the realization that Zion has to be extirpated for there to be peace in the Islamic world. It has also allowed Muslims to realize who the friends and foes are, both international and domestic. Everyone has been identified, from countries down to individuals.

Once this conflict winds down the next stage would be to start eliminating domestic traitors from Muslim countries.

Iran says 2 soldiers killed in Israeli strikes on military targets

US says was informed of strikes but not involved; Pakistan says Israel bears "full responsibility" for escalation; UAE, Saudi Arabia condemn attack.

Iran said an Israeli attack targeted military sites in the Islamic republic on Saturday, killing two soldiers, almost a month after Israel vowed to avenge a missile barrage that raised fears of a full-scale Middle East war.

The Israeli military said its retaliatory air strikes hit Iran’s missile manufacturing facilities, missile installations and other systems in several regions. It warned Iran it would “pay a heavy price” if it responded.

A semi-official Iranian news agency vowed a “proportional reaction” to the Israeli moves against Tehran.

What we know so far:
  • Targets did not include nuclear facilities, US official says
  • US says was informed of plan but not involved, terms strikes “self-defence”
  • Syrian state media reports Israeli strikes on Syrian military sites
  • Middle East condemns “violation of sovereignty”, Britain urges Iran not to respond

Iranian media reported multiple explosions over several hours in the capital and at nearby military bases, starting shortly after 2am (10:30pm GMT on Friday).

Before dawn, Israel’s public broadcaster said three waves of strikes had been completed and that the operation was over.

Iran’s air defence force on Saturday confirmed an Israeli attack had targeted several military bases. The armed forces said later two soldiers were killed in the strikes.

“This fake regime (Israel) attacked parts of military centres in Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam provinces,” it said in a statement, adding the attack “caused limited damage” while being intercepted.

Iranian state television had reported blasts around the capital due to the “activation of the air defence system” against an Israeli attack.

Videos carried by Iranian media showed air defences continuously firing at apparently incoming projectiles in central Tehran, without saying which sites were coming under attack.

Tasnim reported Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps bases that were attacked were not damaged and said Iran was resuming flights from 9am (5:30am GMT) after a suspension during Israel’s attack.

Neighbouring Iraq was also resuming flights, its state news agency said.

Israel targeted some military sites in Syria’s central and southern parts with airstrikes early on Saturday, Syrian state news agency Sana reported.

Israel has not confirmed striking Syria.

The Middle East has been on edge awaiting Israel’s retaliation for a ballistic missile barrage carried out by Iran on Oct 1, in which it fired around 200 missiles at Israel, killing one person in the Israel-occupied West Bank.

Tensions between arch-rivals Israel and Iran have escalated since Hamas, the Palestinian group based in Gaza, attacked Israel on Oct 7, 2023. Hamas has been supported by Lebanon-based Hezbollah, allegedly backed by Iran.

Fears that Iran and the US would be drawn into a regional war have risen with Israel’s intensifying assault on Hezbollah since last month, including airstrikes on the Lebanese capital Beirut and a ground operation, as well as its year-old offensive in Gaza.
