Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Everything for them right now is about ethnically cleansing Gaza and getting rid of it. That's their focus right now. Framing it as part of a larger struggle against Iran is about achieving this and they may even go as far doing a strike on Iran if they believe it provides them consent to commit ethnic cleansing from US + Arab states.

I doubt they will disrupt their campaign in Gaza with a strike on Iran. But if their government is fanatical enough, who knows what they're thinking.

Iran is their ultimate strategic threat in the region. It's possible they try to end Gaza and try to set back Iran's nuclear program and ballistic missile programs.
they can pause Gaza for a while to focus on Iran

Gaza is not a threat to Israel, it's just their fanatical greed for more land and racism against Palestinians

Iran is their only real threat and they know it. Bibi said top 3 threats to Israel are 'Iran Iran and Iran'.

Israel preparing to strike Iran fast if Trump's nuclear talks break down

Israel is making preparations to swiftly strike Iran's nuclear facilities if negotiations between the U.S. and Iran collapse, two Israeli sources with knowledge of the discussions tell Axios.

Why it matters: The Israeli intelligence community has shifted just in the past few days from believing a nuclear deal was close to thinking talks could soon break down, the sources say.

  • One source said the Israeli military thinks its operational window to conduct a successful strike could close soon, so Israel will have to move fast if talks fail. The source declined to say why the military believes a strike would be less effective later.
  • Both sources confirmed a CNN report that the Israel Defense Forces have been conducting exercises and other preparations for a possible strike in Iran. "There was a lot of training and the U.S. military sees everything and understands Israel is preparing," one said.
  • "Bibi is waiting for the nuclear talks to collapse and for the moment Trump will be disappointed about the negotiations and open to giving him the go ahead," an Israeli source added, using a nickname for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Friction point: A U.S. official told Axios the Trump administration is concerned Netanyahu might make his move even without a green light from President Trump.

Behind the scenes: Netanyahu held a highly sensitive meeting earlier this week with a group of top ministers and security and intelligence officials regarding the status of the nuclear talks, an Israeli official said.

Split screen: The fifth round of U.S.-Iran nuclear talks are scheduled to take place Friday in Rome.

  • White House envoy Steve Witkoff gave his Iranian counterpart a written proposal for a deal during the last round ten days ago. Confidence that an agreement could be reached seemed to be growing.
  • But the negotiations hit a roadblock over the question of whether Iran would be able to have any domestic enrichment capability.
  • "We have one very clear red line, and that is enrichment. We cannot allow even 1% of an enrichment capability," Witkoff told ABC's "This Week" on Sunday. Iran's leaders have repeatedly said they won't sign a deal that doesn't permit enrichment.
What to watch: The two Israeli sources said any Israeli strike on Iran will not be a one-off, but a military campaign lasting at least a week.

  • Such an operation would be highly complicated and perilous for Israel and for the region.
  • Countries in the region fear an Israeli strike could cause widespread radioactive fallout, not to mention a war.
What they're saying: Netanyahu said in his first press conference in six months on Monday that Israel and the U.S. are fully in sync on Iran.

  • "We respect their interests and they respect our interests and they overlap almost completely.
  • Netanyahu said he'd respect any deal that prevents Iran from enriching Uranium and blocks it from getting a nuclear weapon.
  • "But in any case, Israel maintains the right to defend itself from a regime that is threatening to annihilate it."

As we say in Persian: "Madar-e adami ke hamle nakone"
Translation: *** your mother if you don't attack. (To Netanyahu)

Iran will transform Israel into the Nether if they try to replicate what they doing in Gaza on Iran and the response is not the only problem for Israel

Israel won't (and can't) do any meaningful operation without massive USAIDS help including ground operations and all of this is aimed at sabotaging the talks and putting pressure on Iran

Don't tell us that Israel alone, using aeroballistic missiles with 500kg warheads pushed to their maximum range, will be enough to completely destroy a facility such as Fordow/any other underground sites. If they want to use bombs, then the IADS will score 10x more kills than Pakistan did on India, but on Israel. Wake up, Israel and the US can't even destroy a single Yemeni/Lebanese underground missile site beside hitting their entrances, and they want to achieve their first underground site kill inside Iran? The wake up will be harsh.

I WISH they would try! Try being the word! May God forgive me for even thinking about any form of destruction in Iran and any form of hurt against the people of Iran but the squatter state has gone way beyond what can be forgiven. They need to be severely punished! The wholesale murder and debauchery against the people of Gaza while the world watches on is mind boggling to me. The zionist West makes excuses, some in the East offers strongly worded condemnation and the poor South is not even heard! I will not even bring up what the so called Arab world is doing because despicable is not enough to describe it. Don't count the incredibly brave people AnsarAllah of Yemen. This is truly a collective sin of our generation. We're many but count for nothing against the injustices of this world. Breaks my heart!

This will checkmate Iran unless Iran already possess nukes, chemical or biological warheads. A general always takes nuclear threats serious.
Bibi takes it beyond serious, 25 years Iran is few weeks from the bomb...

Iran possess those ***** weapons already, but about their potential opinions are different, with some general conclusion "not enough for usa, too much for Israel"... it's not something epical to destroy conditions of the human existence in the tiny entity, where half of that tiny land is already desert, but for historical nation like Iran that is not act of a brave man, but of a some sick war criminal psychopath (discreetly imagine Bibi for clear picture)...

Israel is a tiny country supported by USA and its Air Force has no capability to destroy Iranian nuclear program.

With what forces will they strike? What damage can they do?

If they strike Iranian facilities, Iran will destroy Dimona nuclear reactor and tiny Israeli civilian infrastructure with ballistic missiles/cruise missiles/drones.

Only USA is capable of conducting a major air campaign designed to destroy Iranian nuclear program. But even CIA says that US strikes will not prevent Iran from building nuclear weapons but only postpone it by 1-2 years.

This is because after US strike, Iran will leave NPT, expel foreign inspectors and start a secret nuclear program without any accountability and this will end with Iran finally testing a nuclear device.

In addition, if US strikes Iran, IRGC will close the Strait of Hormuz and Houthis will close the Strait of Bab-el-Mandeb and global economy will collapse with trillions of dollars of damage.

The only way to prevent Iran from building nuclear weapons is toppling Iranian regime, occupying and demilitarizing Iran.

However, even USA is incapable of toppling Iranian regime and occupying Iranian territory because of the size of Iran and its population.

When defender has 10.000 troops, attacker should have 3:1 superiority in quantity for the attack to be successful, assuming all things being equal. In this case attacker invades with 30.000 troops; wins but suffers 10.000 casualties (33%).

When defender has 10.000 troops while attacker has air superiority and superior firepower, attacker can make a successful attack with 1:1 superiority. Attacker attacks with 10.000 troops; wins but suffers 15% casualties (1500 troops).

When defenders has 10.000 troops holding defense in fortified positions in mountains, attacker should number 50.000 troops or create 5:1 superiority in quantity assuming all things being equal. Attacker wins but suffers 40% casualties (20.000 troops).

When defender has 10.000 troops holding defense in fortified positions in mountains, while attacker has superior firepower and air superiority, attacker should create quantitative superiority of 2:1. Attacker should number 20.000 troops; attacker wins but suffers 15% casualties (3000 troops). If attacker with superior firepower goes with 1:1 superiority it can win , but will suffer 40% casualties.

And now let's apply this to Iran, which is a mountainous country.

Iran has an army of 650.000 troops + 350.000 reserves + 2mln poorly trained Basijis = 3mln troops (minimum) holding defense in fortified positions in mountains with tens of thousands of ATGMs.

To invade Iran US must assemble an army of 3mln troops (1:1) with superior firepower and air superiorty. US might win but will suffer 1,2mln casualties (40%). If US goes with 6mln troops (2:1) it might win and suffer 900.000 casualties (15%).

The truth is that US is only capable of assembling 1,2mln troops with Army + National Guard + Marine Corp + Reserves. And since deploying one soldier in the Middle East costs 1mln$ per year, deploying 1,2mln troops will cost 1,2trln$ in the first year. Deploying 3mln troops will cost 3trln$ per year and 6mln troops will cost 6trln$.

And since US federal budget tax revenues are 5trln$, while spendings are 6,5trln$ with 1,5trln$ difference being budget deficit which adds to US debt of 36trln$ every year, financing invasion of Iran is beyond US financial abilities.

Same applies to Israel vs Hezbollah.

Southern Lebanon is mountainous and Hezbollah built 600 bunkers and tunnels in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah can assemble 100.000 troops.

If Israel decides to fully destroy Hezbollah it will have to go with 200.000 troops (2:1) + air superiority and prepare for 30.000 casualties and destruction of Israeli civilian infrastructure.

UN highest officials were clear: this is shame for entire humanity... genocide and starvation as a tool in political affairs, while Brazilian president made good point of the first reality genocide in live, and still unknown consequences for the killers in the upcoming periods... Israel already anthems UN in antisemitism good ol' story... what is great thing, clearly indicates that they are not zionistic lackey...

crucial is to make documentation as much as possible in the only official international organization of the nation-states globally, UN...

For me personally, the hardest to accept is such major blow to Hezbollah, I lived with the picture of post 2006' war Hezbollah...that was pinnacle of competent asymmetrical resistance in unequal source potential reality...

They are not destroyed, and they could come back even stronger... but one major battle is defeat, that's reality regardless of our readiness to accept it...

IRGC Spox: If delusional Israeli regime acts foolishly, taking aggressive action against #Iran, it will receive a devastating response within its small geography. We’ve become more powerful. Stability will not return to the world and the region until #Israel is eliminated.

Threats from the rogue Israeli regime are nothing new. But the recent leak citing US officials as divulging Israeli plans for an unlawful attack on Iran and its nuclear facilities is alarming and warrants immediate and serious condemnation from the UN Security Council and the IAEA.

In a letter to UNSG Guterres and IAEA DG Grossi, I have called on the international community to take effective preventive measures against the continuation of Israeli threats, which if unchecked, will compel Iran to take special measures in defense of our nuclear facilities and materials.

My letter is a serious pre-action warning. The nature, content, and extent of our actions will correspond and be proportionate to preventive measures taken by these international bodies in accordance with their statutory duties and obligations.

Evidently, the Wanted War Criminal Netanyahu—desperate to dictate what the U.S. can and cannot do—spares no effort to derail diplomacy and divert attention from his ICC arrest warrant.

The Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to forcefully respond to any transgression and will stop at nothing to protect its interests and people.

setting scene for Iran to take new measures. smart.

Overall, it will be a fatal mistake that can haunt Iran if it relinquishes its rights to produce nuclear arms.

Still saddens me that children, women and the elderly are being massacred and worst of all starved to death and the world documents the crime happening in front of our eyes! The fact that we've all been cowered to documentation is killing me! Breaking my heart a thousand times every day!
My two cents on the matter is that Hezbollah had to settle for an uneven truce, even though Hezbollah is more than capable of holding its own against the zionist state. The problem is that the zionist West has infiltrated and infected Lebanese society to such a degree that the fifth column in country threatened Hezbollah with another civil war with consequences of them having to fight a devastating two front war and the wholesale destruction of Lebanon akin to Gaza. Lebanese society is not willing to pay in blood to defend Gaza. Who am I to blame them?! 😔💔
