What has taken Iran to the current position, people around the world praises Iran for the brilliant mastermind and support behind Hamas, Houthi and Hezabolah which inflicted heaviest damages to the Isreali, more than middle east war but here we are, what went wrong?

Maybe they should have invested on their army instead of supprotng Asad regime

Iran has to lick it wounds. For 10 years they fought with Iraq loosing lots of arsenal.
Then they were focused on exporting the Islamic revolution. Then they formed several proxy forces in ME which Israel successfully neutralized with radio pagers.

They can't defend their airspace with 50 years old tomcats, mig 21, phantoms.
They are good in making noises like Arabs but zero in actions.

The 5.7 battle has proved Pakistan to be the strongest Muslim nation so far, then followed by Turkey.

I think Israel might keep teaming up with the Bharat regime to target on Pakistan, and it won't go solo.

This government is incompetent, IRGC is incompetent, the military is incompetent. I have been telling this board (and the PDF version of it) since 2015 this was coming if we didn’t change course. No one listened. Everyone was high on copium.

Israel can attack Iran at will. And if Iran cannot fend off an Israeli attack, then it sure as hell will get steamrolled if the USAF is involved that much as clear tonight.

Now let’s wait for 7 - 14 days for Iran to lob some inaccurate missiles at Israel and act like it won the war.

I agree. It's very incompetent of Iranian military to not have a reliable Airforce and air defense systems.

The Iranian calculation may have been, develop a missile deterrence and you do not need an airforce. That's just naive.
