Iran had at least a decade to buy jets from China and Russia and get proper training. Merely warnings and words don't win wars. Unless I am missing something, I don't know why Iran didn't do that. I am sure that the sanctions don't work on Russia and china

Iran knew this from day one. They had ample time to address internal issues and prepare for Israeli attack. if Iran is doing this right now, they are too late.
