I have given up on this lot. They were hoping so hard for Pakistan to fail last month in every Social Media platform. I just don't get it. Why did the Iranian leadership did not see the Zionist attack they carried out in October 2024 as a rehearsal for something exactly like this?

Have the Iranians not acquired any radar/air defences from Russia despite so much investment in Russia-Ukraine war?

I thought Iran and Russia had also recently signed some security pact. Can we expect any rushed Russian military support for Iran as part of this pact?

In case if you have not gone through the thread, this is what happened :

• Israel set up Drone bases inside Iran with support from local factions (similar to BLA in Pakistan, etc)
• They attacked all of the Iranian air defenses with Drones before launching their attack
• Iranian high command were sleeping in their apartments with assurances that Israel will not attack while negotiations are going on
• Israel did attack and took them all out
• Seemingly most missile sites, strategic sites, Airfields are also taken out and Iran seems unable to respond after 10 hours, other than flying 100 drones that were immediately shot down
• There are reports that some of the Iranian officials tried to negotiate a ceasefire.
• Russia seems pissed off at the incompetence of Iranians and their trust in the US to having become so relaxed (but being reported by Russian channels). Also, that with the current air superiority of Israel, Russia cannot do anything without getting shot down themselves in such an airspace.
