Iran should not close the strait of hormuz, do not give the US a reason to get involved. Isolate israel and beat them up. Use the closure as a last resort in case US decides to escalate. Simultaneously, Iran needs to do a nuke test to send a strong message any nuclear strike could result in a nuclear exchange. Also, if the US or israel use nukes then why can’t Russia use in Ukraine?
