As far whether America force Israel or not, its not up for debate... can America force Israel stop and behave in the region they sure can, remove that protection from Israel and see how things turn out for Israel, all that bravado of Israel and bold operations of IDF are done under full protection of America, give that same support to somalia and they will launch similar operations.
No, I believe in my observation. And you know how much I hated Trump, this is going to blow back to him, he already had a handful on people who protest about Illegal Immigration, he don't need another anti-Israel protest on his end. So, as much as In wanted Trump to walk into Political Suicide, I don't think he is behind this. Or even supported this.
Knowing Trump, if he had been behind this, he is NOT the person who hides it, he is going to brag about how he attacked (or directed to attack) Iran, and beat Iran into submission. Instead of that half arse "Iran should come to the table" BS. Trump is not going to shy away from the spotlight, I mean dude, he humiliated both Zelenskyy and South African President in front of the whole world, and you think if he is behind this, he is not going to brag and gloat about this?? If this was us, we will go in the end of the month when the moon Is new and attack Iran with a full comprehensive package instead of using 50% (IAF uses about 170 of their 300 strong airforce) and go in on a full moon, an air strike is not just sending plane to attack target, it's a whole set of things, you are talking about logistic, special force, recon element and so on, planning this to be execute in a full moon when there are full light display at night is foolish, you either have an urgency to do that or you have actual troop in contact. The Israeli doing this is a very typical "Strike now and ask question later" this would fit if Nethanyahu try to launch the strike first and force Trump hand to follow.
So no, as much as I want to pin this on Trump, the analyst in me is saying otherwise.
