They were Sadam Hussein ver. 2 project, inherently anti-Iranian failed attempt to get it into isolation... if choice is ISIS, al qaeda, or Assad, common sense is pushing me towards Assad.... Hamas stabbed Iran and Hezbollah in the back then and was kicked out of Syria... after came to forgiveness, maybe the wrong decision from the actual perspective...Come on, it wasn’t just Al Qaeda fighting in Syria, and besides, I don’t care what the West says, but Bashar Al Asad was a monster and tyrant
If you’re using proxies to support a tyrant like that till the death you’re obviously going to suffer
If Hezbollah wasn’t busy killing Muslims in Syria they’d be stronger to deal with Israel in the north as well
