US intelligence is likely accurate. Iran has 2,000 missiles that can reach Israel. Probably 10,000+ short range ones. 10,000+ drones and cruise missiles. Possibly more drones.

But long range ballistic missiles are around 2,000. Which is why Iran invested in Hezbollah because it's long range ballistic missile production capacity is not more than superpowers. And even superpowers make them for non conventional purposes. They don't use them as conventional alternative to fighter jets.

Iran will have to get creative to damage Israel. And they should focus on economic targets and government symbols like Israeli Knesset building and so forth.

I don't think China has great interests to protect in Iran. It's a real question.

Given that Israel has started to target economic civilian targets in Iran. When will Iran return the favour by taking out the CPU manufacturing fabs in Israel. Or is wasting a missile on some civilian building more appealing to Iran ?
