The problem you failed to see is that nobody uses Jordan´s airspace espeically not the Israelis they used to use Lebanon to strike Syria hidding behind travel planes to avoid getting hit back and now they use Syria and Iraq..

Iran's strategy is clear..

Saturate the atmosphere with 100s of lighter, cheaper and slower missiles (may be decoys, empty barrels) and send a couple of real hypersonic assets to hit the intended target in between.

So far, the fast moving missiles are only few.. and they come with a barrage of many slower ones..

In a volley of missiles, something will get through but impacts are in civilian areas mostly. The IDF remains functional and attacking high value targets in Tehran among other places with surgical precision. The Air Force has true value.

If you saw the Elijah Magnier video I just posted above, he is saying that the Iranian missiles are not that precise and they all too often end up hitting civilian targets.

As to the Air Force of Iran: I absolutely don't think Iran would have benefited from trying to have fighter jets to counter Israel. Their jets/bases would be destroyed by the saboteurs in their own country or by the stealth bombers of Israel/NATO while still sitting on the ground, the purchase of very advanced, expensive fighter jets, their maintenance would exact a high price on a country under sanctions for nearly half a century, there wouldn't be a scenario of 'dog fights' or bomb a distant nation like Israel... many reasons. No comparison with the India-Pakistan situation and even then we have just seen the Indian fighter jets were humbled.
Iran did the right strategy of stock piling the missiles but they do need to invest in more air defense system.

I don't know that for a fact and the US routinely flies training exercises with the Royal Saudi Air Force.

Israeli planes have to cross Arab airspace to reach Iran. It's plain geography.

Not just stealth F-35 but regular F-16s which can be detected by Arab radars.
