Building in Haifa directly hit, says Israeli emergency service​

A building has been directly hit in the northern Israeli city of Haifa, according to the Israeli search and rescue organization ZAKA, after the Israeli military detected more missile launches from Iran.

“Direct hit on a building in Haifa. ZAKA Northern District teams are on their way to the scene,” ZAKA wrote.

A Reuters camera captured an explosion in the city, with smoke rising above the Haifa skyline.

Israel Fire and Rescue Services also said they had received reports of a “direct hit on a residential building in the Coastal District,” with firefighting teams on their way to the scene.
