Israel detects more missiles launched by Iran​

The Israeli military has detected more missiles launched from Iran, and has urged Israeli citizens to head to protective shelters.

CNN staff heard air raid sirens sound in Tel Aviv as well as explosions.

Defense systems are operating to intercept the threat, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement Sunday.

The latest Iranian salvo comes as Israel said it was commencing a “series of strikes” in western Iran, targeting surface-to-surface missiles.
