Most likely to invade Iran. They need boots on the ground to destroy underground facilities at Natanz and Fordow.

Aircraft carriers do not have substantial amount of marines for invasion. You need amphibious groups for that with their own LPH/LPDs. Those are not attached.

I don’t think U.S. has appetite for U.S. boots on the ground. They will want to do massive punitive strikes on Iran. But maybe now cautioned due to hypersonics.

These AC groups will do what they are doing right now I-e keep intercepting Iranian projectiles.
