I honestly don't know much about military hardware but thought what @dbc said seemed to make sense, especially about integrating with any existing Iranian SAM systems.
Integration is just a matter of writing new software. Both sides (Chinese, Iranian) would cooperate so it's nothing too difficult.
But, anyway, it will be a 'whackamole' to use an aircraft like J-35 as a radar system, which Pakistan doesn't even have yet and when have it will be used against India, who might be ready to pounce any time as their 'Operation Sindoor' is not over yet.
I only mentioned J-35 because we have been discussing it on the forum. The planes would be supplied by China directly (whatever plane, doesn't matter). Pakistan would just be the conduit, or not even involved. Again, we are not talking about extensive pilot training to learn how to fly the plane in actual combat, just parking it.
Pakistan needs to help Iran using missiles into Israel as a deterrence by placing Pakistani advisors with existing expertise in the Chinese missile system in Iran to guide the Iranians or even fire themselves. The Chinese satellite system can help with targeting. That will be the cheapest, quickest option in this scenario. Officially Pakistan would not be involved as they would be 'advisors'; NATO is doing that in Ukraine against Russia.
Iran seems to have plenty of advanced missiles. Their greatest need at the moment is AD to deny Israel the impunity to fly over Iran at will and bomb anything.
