Trump is scrambling to figure out what to say to avoid looking like an impotent bystander.

First he said he knew about the attack, including the date, to avoid looking like a fool who got played by Netanyahu.

Then -- typical Trump -- he reversed his statement to say he knew nothing.

Likely truth is that he didn't know jack and is desperately trying to stay relevant.

Do you think US is not providing military intelligence such as satellite spying and military GPS support to Israeli attacks all along ? I think it's impossible and therefore Trump gov must knew in advance. Israel is also doing the dirty work in US interest.

After listening to Trump speak on the war, I think Israel and US conspired to attack Iran, one playing black face and the other playing white face, double play.

agree, a very elaborate diplomatic and PR dance which included a supposed rift between Netanyahu and Trump and even GCC outreach to Iran, like the Saudi defense minister visit. They are all complicit. I further believe that Israelis are using an airfield in Syria somewhere in cooperation with Al Jolani regime.
