Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Now, I do recognize that this is not a computer game; it is war. Lives are lost, and the repercussions are tangible. Nevertheless, I find the criteria for target selection perplexing to say the least.

From a strategic point of view; why are essential institutions not being targeted in line with the established objective of disrupting your opponent's economic operations? Isn't that Iran's goal? Why is the Central Bank of Israel and major financial institutions not a target? These are much more vital organs than oil refineries. It will disturb the ENTIRE economy immediately, literally crash all activities including the citizens ability to get access to their own bank accounts (and money). This would turn everyone in Israel against Netanyahu...

They are leaving space for an off ramp?

What in the actual **** is this Jackal & Hyde approach

This site spreads a lot of fake news why even post it I could believe if they said talks with America via china or Russia but to add Israel that’s a joke whatever happens after this war Iran now will want to go after Israeli interests for as long as Iran exists no one is safe anymore

Signs at the G7 that consensus on Israel-Iran isn't quite there

Gary O'Donoghue
Chief North America correspondent, reporting from the G7

It’s clear that attempts are being made at the G7 summit to produce some kind of joint statement on the conflict between Israel and Iran.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer told reporters that he believed there was a consensus for de-escalation.

But in a sign that there was still work to do on turning that into something concrete, he added: "Obviously, what we need to do today is to bring that together and to be clear about how it is to be brought about”.

In other words, a consensus on the ends, perhaps, but maybe not quite on the means.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz suggested that European leaders would propose a communiqué that Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons, and Israel had the right to defend itself.

No clear mention of de-escalation – an indication that the consensus may not be quite there.

The BBC’s US partner, CBS, is reporting that President Trump does not intend to sign such a document.

Expect other members of the G7 to try to change his mind over the course of today – not a task that will be easy.

Iranian broadcaster being used for military purposes, says IDF

We're now hearing more about the strike on Iran's state broadcaster.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says in a statement that the air force targeted a "communication centre that was being used for military purposes by the Iranian Armed Forces".

It goes on to say the building was being used "under the guise of civilian activity" and that is strike "directly harmed the military capabilities of the Iranian Armed Forces".

"Prior to the strike, the IDF provided an effective advanced warning to the civilian population, including phone calls, and conducted the strike in a precise manner in order to mitigate harm to civilians as far as feasible."
This damage control won’t work anymore! Peoples are not fools. wtf do they think that they can easily gaslight everyone ?

Israel confirms attack on Iranian state media

Israel's defence minister has confirmed it has attacked Iran's state broadcaster.

In a statement, Israel Katz says the attack occurred after a "large-scale evacuation of local residents", adding that Israel will "strike the Iranian dictator wherever he is".

The Iranian Chiefs of Staff: The Zionist entity will not stand up to our people, and we warn America and the supporters of Israel, which exceeded our red lines that it can be dragged to confront

Ahahah or just listened to someone very strange on a Zionist TV show lol. The Iranian ghost speaks!!

Which 48 interceptors would be enough to stop a wave of F-35s? And at what cost?

Iran should have invested in an ADS instead.

The plane on its own Is not everything

It's different systems working together

So why did PAF beat the IAF recently????

Because different systems Pakistan has worked together to create a formidable force even in the face of a on paper better plane and airforce

Even against superior numbers of more Indian jets, India left the battlefield with 6 planes lost and the IAF was grounded

Multiple ground radars
Multiple AWACS to give Pakistan aerial awareness, knowledge of enemy assets and where they are
Multiple ground and aerial EW assets
Experienced pilots and our own program to make them elite
A BVR capable of hitting the enemy

if Iran could build up its airforce going forward, it could go for similar options to Pakistan

J10C with PL15
Possible 5th Gen platform in J35 in future
Possible KAAN if relationship with Turkey is on good terms
And possible JF17 to add numbers

As long as you create a interlinked range of systems Including A.D what you are doing is making a hostile territory where your enemy either can't operate or wasted fuel and time and thus is forced to return

In the current conflict even if Iran has 200 JF17s armed with PL15s
They could prove useful as long as you had backup support via AWACS, ground radars, A.D

As soon as F35s were detected, you could send up JF17s,
You could fire BVRs at maximum range ie 200km
At incoming enemy jets, those jets will then be forced to either divert, or take the BVRs out
Once again wasting time and fuel they don't have

Air battles are won through tactics as much as they are through the machine

We can take this discussion to another thread, and I believe there's one or more that already exists, but I seriously doubt that I'll indulge in this line of discussion. I'm concerned about what's happening with our Iranian friends and that's why I'm here to grasp all the updates that I can. I already spoke my mind on the topic. You more than welcome to carry on with the conspiracy theories.

Stop trolling, you are literally indulging the topic, no need to pretend like you're not, that's unproductive trolling

India distancing itself from the ScO position, and literally having a military allyship with Israel in wars is not a conspiracy theory, it's very recent truth

We know there are people who are sabotaging iran from within

We know also, India has been accused a few times to spy on behalf of Israel, as they are in other countries

Now again, I might be wrong on this, and I'm not exactly trying to discuss this as much as you make out, but I also might be right, and there's no way you can't say foreign Nations that perhaps might have sabotaged Iranian systems or tipped off on insider knowledge is not really significant
