Many people in Iran see not this as the people's war, but the regime's war.

We are seeing many people, despite restrictions in Iran, saying they are against the regime.

That doesn't mean they support Netanyahu, but they are so fed up with the regime that they want it to disappear.

The Iranian intelligence services have been arresting people for posting jokes about the weakening of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

One person in Tehran told me his 14-year-old boy was taken for questioning simply for posting meme on social media, and his father had to go and beg them to release him.

That's the kind of environment in Iran right now.

In addition to military targets, Israel has been trying to weaken the Iranian security services which play a pivotal role in supressing unrest and protest.

"Years-long research" lost in Iranian strike on key Israeli research center, employees say​

Scientific research has been lost after an Iranian missile struck the Weizmann Institute of Science, according to employees of the institute.

The institute works on scientific and medical advancements, and its Professor Ada Yonath won a Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009 for mapping the ribosome. It has also collaborated with the military and defense companies, including Elbit Systems, a leading Israeli defense company that specializes in drones and naval, land and aerial weapons.

Two scientists at the center, Eran Segal and Eldad Tzahor, said on X that their lab was destroyed by the strike, sharing images of the destruction.

Mor Moria Shipony, a graphic designer at the center, told CNN the labs had been “completely burnt down.”

“My colleagues conducted years-long research and had equipment worth millions of dollars — and now it’s all gone,” she said.
She said they almost considered staying at shelters in the center, “but thankfully we decided not to. Fortunately, only property was damaged, which makes us feel very lucky.”

Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited the site of the strike today, where he stressed that “Iran will try havoc, death, destruction. We will continue promoting life, liberties, civil liberties, and, of course, democracy and the plight for peace as we believe in.”

Israel has also targeted three key Iranian nuclear facilities — Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow — and several top scientists involved in nuclear research and development, some of whom were killed with their families in their homes.

The leadership of Iran have made a lot of miss calculations and the biggest one is not acquiring nuclear warheads, when Trump ripped up the JCPOA.

This is obviously you opinion that those ruling Iran do not share. Besides when the time comes and certain tools of warfare are required then I'm certain that these will be acquired by Iran.

If Iran had an arsenal of a dozen nukes, Qassem Soleimani would be still alive, Hasan Nasrallah would be still alive, your nuclear scientist and IRGC commanders and general would still be alive. Your country and civilians would not be getting bombed by a genocidal entity day and night. You’re fighting back bravely , but all of the effort the IRGC put into building up a strong and sophisticated network of resistance against Israeli/American hegemony in the region is gone, all because the Iranian leadership did not create the ultimate deterrence (a damn nuke).

You really think Arabs & Iranians like Indians? Arabs were literally the sponsor of jihad movement in India with CIA help (100% funding was from Arabs). Iran always needles India regarding Kashmir & muslims and has tortured Indian diplomats as recently as 20 years ago.

What changed is that India has become too powerful and hence now commands respect. It is not due to love. If India has to remain friendly to Arabs, Iranians, Pakistan, BD etc despite the past attempts of harming India, there must be some incentives which is being given as remittance & investment. Else, India has every right to take revenge for the past misdeeds of sponsoring jihad and harming Hindus. Even then, it is only the Arabs who are being reasonable while Iran is still driving hard bargains.

Ye india showed its power when it lost 6 planes and got a slap a few weeks ago from a nation one seventh size.

I have been watching iran and its military developments for a long time. I wholeheartedly support Iran. I also understand about Russia politics and their logics . Iran should have prepared to war after Trump loss and Biden election in 2020 . Then, i felt that you have only 4 years before pro israel/pro russian Trump comeback. I really happy when biden get elected because it give you 4 year to prepare. I understood that if Trump get back then there would be war against Iran. It was my intuition. Unfortunately , Iran leadership did nothing . They didnt take it seriously. now we have what we have.

Also , you need to consider that Trump and Putin have relationship, because putin have comprising video for trump. So, for russian you were as change coin. The deal like this: Trump abandoned support of ukraine , putin didnt support politically and dont provide any jet fighter/air defense system for iran.

yes, yes and yes...Again, why is Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Oman, SA,...etc not fighting for all that is holy? Because Iran is a sacrificial lamb. You will fight till last Irani. Again, why Iran?
