Regime change ain't gonna work. Its not like 1 million plus basij gonna lay down their weapons and accept Shah's son with open arms. This would be a long drawn out war. If Israel goes for regime change, U.S is gonna get bogged down indefinitely. Unlike syria there is no mass opposition army in Iran.

-The USA is NOT going to invade, it doesn't have the forces, it would be a blood bath against hundreds of thousands and millions of iranians

-The U.S is UNLIKELY to bring it's navy anywhere near Iran, doing so would automatically close Hormuz and cause multiple problems

-This was a plot, a plan by Israel and the USA, they lulled Iran with peace/nuclear talks and hit Iran when Iran was expecting it

The plans were in place for months and years, and the main component was a INTERNAL iranian militia, which iran must now hunt down and destroy


Israel itself can try to hit Iran, and it has, BUT Irans missile plan would fundamentally work, for all the pain Iran took, iran would gradually take apart Israeli infrastructure and cause unbearable damage

SECOND - Israel has been unable to destroy iranian nuclear facilities, it doesn't have the correct heavy bombor aircraft to carry it


As a result to stop the defeat of Israel through Israel taking multiple hits, the U.S is on the scene threatening Iran
The aim being to reduce iranian missiles heading towards Israel, in preparation for a possible U.S attack

This gives Israel time to attack iranian A.D and military targets, individuals and nuclear sites




The U.S will then likely send in the B52s out of range of damaged iranian A.D and then drop the big GB42 (I think that's what they call it) and try to damage fordow



The conflict won't last much longer then that, their is unlikely to be regime change unless the iranians themselves are stupid
And through sanctions and arm twisting they will try to force Iran into a agreement after


Iran has a short window, to hit Israel as much as possible and hopefully Iran has contingency plans for its nuclear development that the U.S doesn't know about or the damage is limited

I was present on the previous forum & there was thread about it I think.

What you’d call ‘chickened out’ was a very prudent thing to do. If America is threatening to invade Iran now ( pretty sure there wouldn’t be an invasion ), it would have most certainly invaded back then.

Iran is in a much stronger position today than it was in 1995-2003.
America is relatively in a much weaker position today than it was 1995-2003.

Why start something which you have no balls to finish while still facing the consequences for it?

Iranian nation has been under crippling sanctions for decades because Khamenei and his sycophants ran their motor mouths againt Israel and west every single day. Iran has and still has ZERO stake in jew arab conflict. Have arab countries done anything for Palestine? or against Israel? Jordan is opening its legs daily for Israeli planes, Egypt saw Gazans being butchered at border, Turkey has been supplying 5-6 Bln USD worth raw material annually to Israel when its killing Palestinian babies, PGCC does nothing for their own arab blood being genocided, why Iran a Turko-Iranic Shia nation had to be punished by Khamenei and his croonies for this cause alone ? Fine they are "principalists" ok so when you have gone so ideological then atleast build strategic deterence first. Khamenei politicised the nuclear program by using levels of enrichment as bargaining chip, IR-8/9 are one of the worlds most efficient centrifuges that can pull the 60% HEU to WGU in matter of hours. US and Israel provided Khamenei with so many opportunities to use to go nuclear. Why did he just launched some 30-40 missiles at US bases when Gen. Soleimani was assassinated, it was a breach of international law, he could have just ordered 1 ton of WGU (150-180 weapons). Instead he went for talks over it.

Yes in that front but not strong in current state to go out in overt supplies to allies in need and against the full power of the current world order. The economy is in shambles, one decision by you know who and we’ll have people starving.
