US won't use Air Force short range jet for this, that's what the 3 carrier battle group is for, if they were to use tactical fighter, then I don't think they are going to launch sortie off Aviano or even Crete, it's going to be 2 Carrier in the Eastern Med and one off Africa.

If we are talking about long-range bombers (B-52s, B-2) that deliver a heavy payload or the GBU-57 we keep hearing about, then those strikes can come from anywhere, such as Guam, Diego Garcia, or even the US East Coast. It's very hard to say where they will base their refuelers, if they even use one.

Iran must request China and Russia to be part of the meeting. To help break a deal. Usa made it clear they don't want ceasefire, they want Iran to submit to the deal as they will never accept a nuclear Iran. Iran China as superpower must get themselves involved and broker a deal, IAEA should be able to keep eye on Iranian facilities. End of the problem. Another issue is who will stop Israel?
