Actually there is currently an American NGO called Grey Bull rescue that are helping "smuggle" people out of Israel

I have been monitoring US media and State Dept. notifications. This is a massive headache for them.

Broad government restrictions against flying out of the country in the wake of Israel’s attack against Iran last Friday are facing tough legal questions, as apparently large numbers of Israeli citizens seeking to leave the country for various reasons are currently being prevented from doing so.

Although small numbers of foreign citizens and Israelis have been able to leave through sea and land borders, Israeli citizens have not been able to buy plane tickets out of Israel, apparently due to concerns for aviation security during the ongoing conflict with Iran.

People here have actually been quite decent and discussed topics from Israel's strikes and also criticized Iranians's delayed response at the start.

They have evacuated 1500 citizens today


Remember that they were not evacuating this number of people from Afghanistan they expect to evacuate some 6,000 Americans who have registered to evacuate with the US embassy SAFE traveller program.

American Embassies have a system called WARDEN when an emergency like this happens it activates and every US citizen that is registered with the SAFE traveller program gets instructions on how the government can help them evacuate.
