Then publically, the USA will have to state why they are there with this equipment outside of the permission of the host country.

Bro, when the Yemen war started, the Yemenis just walked into 5 of the Saudi towns and nobody even came ahead to defend them. 2 of them are still with Yemen. How do you expect they can dictate anything to the Americans. Whet they say carries no weight at all, over what America does in the US bases. Lets say they tell the US to leave. Will US pack up and leave ? No they will laugh and carry on.

to me, the Saudis are hostages, their royal family is in a 5 star luxury prison, allowed to spend money but no say how their foreign policy is run. the Americans can just walk in and take them out. reminds me of a scene from an old movie called Wind and the Loin,
